"Nuan Nuan, have you lost your mind?"

"I know that you are angry with Pei Zhi Yi. But this isn't what you should do. Finding just whoever wants to marry you?"

"Nuan Nuan, don't be like this. Don't make a rash decision."

"Listen to your father. Marriage is not a child's play. How can you decide to marry just anyone? No. I won't allow it."

The voices around her were getting louder.

An Nuan knew that her family and friends were trying to talk some sense into her. However, she had made her decision.

Perhaps she was not thinking things through and there was a chance that she might regret the decision she made today.

The one thing that she wanted to do now was to break off any chance of reconciling with Pei Zhi Yi.

An Nuan knew herself best. She was afraid that her heart would soften once Pei Zhi Yi stood in front of her and begged her to take him back.

It would not be the first time that something like that had happened.

She loved Pei Zhi Yi. It would not be easy for her to move on after being together with him for so many years. She gave too many chances to Pei Zhi Yi. This time, she cannot turn around.

The people around her continued to reason with her, saying that she was making a rash decision because of anger.

Her parents continued to argue with Pei Zhi Yi's parents.

Listening to the chaotic atmosphere around her made her more determined to do something crazy.

"Nuan Nuan," An Jian stretched his hand and waited for his younger sister to put her hand on his. "Let's go. I'll take you home, alright?" His voice was especially gentle. "Get some rest. We will discuss this tomorrow."

An Nuan took a step forward. But it was not to follow her elder brother to leave.

Seeing An Nuan walking away, Ren Di and An Jian exchanged a look before they decided to follow her.

"Nuan Nuan, where are you going?" Ren Di asked

"I'm going to find someone who wants to be my groom," An Nuan spoke through her gritted teeth.

She gathered her skirt in her hands and walked away. There was a blaze of determination in her eyes. She worked hard with the wedding planner to make the wedding in her dream happen.

Since the groom went missing, she just needed to look for a substitute.

Ren Di's face turned pale. She did not think that An Nuan was being serious. Ren Di exchanged another look with An Jian before they both decided to chase after her.

Before An Nuan could reach for the door, a tall figure suddenly appeared in front of her, blocking her view.

An Nuan was startled as she was not expecting that someone would suddenly appear.

She raised her head and stiffened when she saw a familiar face standing in front of her.

"Lin Xiao Feng, it's good that you are here," An Jian spoke when he saw the person who was blocking his younger sister's path. "Help me to talk some sense into Nuan Nuan. I think she must have gone crazy from anger."

An Nuan clenched her skirt a little tighter. "Lin Xiao Feng, move away. Don't stop me." She did not think that Lin Xiao Feng would listen to her elder brother and stop her from leaving.

Taking a deep breath, An Nuan stepped to one side, wanting to walk past through. Unexpectedly, Lin Xiao Feng followed her movement and continued blocking her path.

The first time might be a coincidence. But when this happened for the second and third time, An Nuan was sure that Lin Xiao Feng was determined to block her.

"Lin Xiao Feng!" An Nuan stared at the man angrily. "Move aside!"

"No."

The light in her eyes shifted at the man's answer. An Nuan was not expecting that Lin Xiao Feng would decline her request.

Lin Xiao Feng lowered his head to look at An Nuan for a long time.

In fact, Lin Xiao Feng has been in the waiting room for a while.

He was looking for his mother, Song Luan when he overheard the news that the groom had left.

When he arrived in the waiting room, Lin Xiao Feng overheard the other's discussion about An Nuan's wedding.

The parents from both parties were arguing and could not come up with a solution.

It took him a while to finally understand the situation.

The groom left An Nuan alone to find another person while promising to return quickly.

An hour has passed but the groom's silhouette could not be seen.

The An family was determined not to let this wedding happen. Meanwhile, the Pei family was hoping that the An family would give Pei Zhi Yi time before he would return.

The argument lasted for a long time until An Nuan announced that she would find another groom and was willing to marry just anyone.

Lin Xiao Feng stayed around, using the excuse of accompanying his mother to observe the situation a little more.

A thought came to his mind when he saw the determined look on An Nuan's face.

Without giving it a long thought, Lin Xiao Feng stopped An Nuan from leaving.

"Nuan Nuan, listen to me." An Jian held his younger sister's arm, hoping that he could talk some sense into her. "I'll take you away, alright? We will figure out things together."

An Nuan struggled to get her arm away from her elder brother's grip.

"What are you going to do?" Lin Xiao Feng spoke after a long silence between them. Seeing that An Nuan was not answering, Lin Xiao Feng then continued, "An Nuan, I heard that you are looking for a substitute groom."

"This does not concern you."

"You said that you are going to marry whoever is willing to take the groom's spot," Lin Xiao Feng continued. "Since you don't mind whoever the person is, then... why don't you consider me?"

An Nuan stopped struggling.

At the side, the people who were observing the situation stared at Lin Xiao Feng in disbelief.

No one expected that Lin Xiao Feng would volunteer.
