Was it too bold a move? Perhaps.

Walking into a dining hall full of wolves who would desire nothing more than to rip me limb from limb was definitely a callous thing to do. But as Alpha of the Alexander the Great pack and a guest of Alpha Miller, I had certain immunities that even the most violent of these trainees had no choice but to abide by.

All of their enraged eyes glared at me. If it were possible to kill by sight alone, I would be dead a thousand times over with not even my bones remaining.

I ignored all of their death stares and honed in on the one who had blatantly ignored my entrance. Her scent was intoxicating even from the other end of the room. I knew she could sense me as well even if she pretended otherwise. Her body became tense, her heart rate increased, and her temperature rose… exactly as mine did.
