"Zyril come on, answer me. Do you think something has changed around here?" annoyed Gerald as Zyril looked at him with hateful eyes as she bite down on her burger.
"Hey, are you angry? Tell me, why are you angry?" further annoyed Gerald as he found fun and was feeling relaxed whenever he teases his Zyril.
"Gerald will you shut the fuck up? You didn't bought me my burger now you're annoying me! I hate you!" Zyril suddenly bursted in an outrage as she shouted at Gerald who was shocked by her outrage. She then retreated away and silently ate her burger on the other side of the passenger seat.
Gerald was shocked of course, he might have overdone his teasing giving him another problem to fix other than his gut feeling.
"Zero! Scan the whole compound! Gather every footage from the time I left the house. Full permission is granted." ordered Gerald as he slowly slide towards the seat of Zyril and started to apologize to Zyril by doing sweet stuff to her such as playing with her hands.
"Zyril, come on, don't be angry. I'll buy you all the burgers you want next time." Gerald pulled Zyrils head and rested it on his shoulders as Zyril started to cry while munching down on her burger.
"Just l-like that other promise of yours, you wouldn't fulfill it and here I was, a fool always believing and expecting you to fulfill all your promises." the suit of Gerald was stained by Zyril's tears as she snuggled closer to him.
"Promise? I fulfilled everything I promised you know." rebutted Gerald as he tried to remember all the promises he gave to Zyril and he remembers he fulfilled it.
"No! See you forgot about it! I hate you!" Zyril suddenly pushed Gerald away and returned to her previous state of silently munching down on some burger.
Just then, a ting sound was heard as Zero finally accomplished the gathering of the data. The loads of data was then presented to Gerald in a holographic state which Gerald started to scan.
"What's this on line 2918, has the Prime Minister visited mom? Or this is a bug?" asked Gerald as he looked at the encoded version of the cctv footage of the front of the house.
"Yes sir, here's the footage." Zero answered as the footage of the Prime Minister exiting the car and having a handshake with Samantha can be seen. But what caught Gerald's attention was the sudden but subtle glow on the eyes of the Prime Minister.
"This piece of shit!" it's now Gerald's turn to have an outburst as Zyril was this time shocked by this sudden outburst. She knows Gerald doesn't shout too often, well except on some "serious" exercise with her.
"I'll fucking kill him! He, he dares to do some mind tricks with mom! I'll fucking kill him!" Gerald's eyes was bloodshot as he looked at the paused video of the Prime Minister shaking hands with his mother which Zyril also saw. She also saw the subtle glow on the eyes of the Prime Minister which made her felt similar anger like Gerald.
"H-he tried to control or do something to mom!" shouted Zyril as her anger started to become uncontrollable as evident by her shaking hands clutching the burger tightly.
Samantha might not really act comfortable around her due something she can't understand. She probably acts like that as she felt weirded out as her son was dating her own stepdaughter. But nonetheless, it's not something she really wanted to know as she felt it's totally a waste of time.
Even though she has this uncomfortable feleing around Zyril, Zyril knows she still loves her. After all, she's Samantha's stepdaughter. So, Zyril of course really loves Samantha like her true parent that she hasn't gotten from childhood. She scoured the whole world to find her true parents only to find nothing, as if they just disappeared out of thin air. She already said to Gerald about this concern of her which Gerald explained to her that he thinks it's for the better to just move on.
She did what he suggested as she realized it's really logical. Like, why bother about the past when your future is as bright as the brightest object in universe. So even though she still has dounts, she casted it away and fully moved on. Now, that her stepmother has been "drugged", she can't and she won't forgive the culprit. Not now, and not in the future.
As their car finally arrived at the entrance of the mansion, Gerald amd Zyril immediately marched out if the car and searched for Samantha.
"Mom! Where are you?!" called out Gerald as the figure of Samantha on the wheelchair can be seen slowly driving towards them.
"Gerald! Zyril! You've returned home! How's the business trip and meeting with that... what is it again? For One All?" asked Samantha with an innocent smile and voice as Gerald just nodded at Zyril who immediately moved in. He needs to knock her out as the prospect of her being mind controlled is far more dangerous for she has high level access and even by revoking it wouldn't guarantee her not being able to order the mercenaries under the group.
Nanobots suudenly appeared on the tip of the index finge rof Zyril as it formed a syringe containing some sort of liquid inside the container as she closed in and stabbed it at the neck of Samantha who was too slow to even react.
"Z-zy.. wh.. happe.." the words of Samantha was cut off as she suddenly limped and fell forward. Luckily, Zyril was there and she catched her falling body and pushed it back on her wheelchair.
"Zero! Have the mobile command center ready. Tokyo... Tokyo is about to become a battleground! Also prepare that thing. We need to find ways to eliminate the mind control effects no matter what!"

The entirety of Japan was uprooted from its very foundations as the JSDF, the people supposed to protect the Japanese people are now the one hurting them. They has this red armband as they systematically executed, and arrested all people against the Prime Minister. From the highest of the people on the opposition party to the lowest of office worker releasing his sentiments against the government.
Riots and strikes as the policemen tried to contain the JSDF but was instead ordered to stand down by their higher ups. The policemen wanted to help badly but was prseed down by their higher ups. However, some policemen went against this order as they deliberately helped innocent Japanese people by engaging the JSDF who's clearly better armed and trained. But the fire in their hearts wasn't suppressed by the high powered rifles.
On a random block in Tokyo, a group of policemen who has refused to stand down was fighting a regiment of the JSDF, who's pinning them down on their position due to high powered rifles.
"Damn it! What's happening to the JSDF! I thought they're here to protect us!" shouted a policewoman as she fired back with her low caliber pistol.
"Hey guys, you know that we'll die today right? Well I mean we all know we'll die when we refused to stand down and fight for our beliefs. I just want to tell you that it's my pleasure dying by your sides." said a policeman who's clutching his stomach as blood slowly poured out.
His companions just nodded at him as they can't do anything. They can't reach him as they risk being shot themselves. The man know he'll eventually die so, he decided to bring at least one or if lucky two with him to his grave.
He slowly breathed as he struggled to stand up. But just as he was standing up the sounds of jet fighters whistled as a squadron of jet fighters suddenly did a nose dive and in a drive by, eliminated most of the men and vehicles on the squadron that's pinning them.
"W-what?" asked the policewoman as she pstucled her head to see the jet fighters who pulled up and did a another dive. What she saw was not the Japanese flag but two insignias on each wing. On the left wing was a random insignia for each of them having occasionally the same with a couple but what caught her attention was the logo of a big S with a sparrow bird colored in black and gold.
She knew this insignia very well, it's the insignia of the manufacturer of the anti-superhuman weapinry she's currently carrying.
It's the insignia of the Sparrow Group...
