章節 2: Alexi
Staggering , Shuddering for breath , Mist escaped his mouth as he stumbled back towards Kazan .
His circular glasses were cracked , Nearly destroyed even , As his bowl cut hair was matted with blood .
His fat lips bled slightly , His left side hurt , Red hot pain flaring through his side as his no doubt cracked rib burnt a fiery pain in his side .
Even now , As night had descended apon the canopy of kazan , He stumbled through the knee high snow , Following the tracks of that ... man . The tracks of which he knew would lead to his salvation .
' That man ' Alexi shuddered , The memory of the man's cold , Uncaring eyes peering down apon him as he lay with the weight of the world on his shoudler , The memory of the look made him shudder .
" Just who ... " Alexi heard the distant noises of driving cars , His lip quivering as he finally broke the treeline , Spotting the dishevelled and sparcly huddled buildings before him .
" Are you " His eyes rolled to the back of his head as someone spotted him , Rushing towards the plump teen , Yelling out about an attack as blood began to pool at his side .

The beeping of medical equipment roused him from his slumber , Eyes creaking open before closing quickly under the brightness that beat down apon him .
' Argh ' He winced and rolled onto his side , Before sitting up In pain , Finding bandages wrapped around his Torso , His fat slumping down slightly .
" Ah you're awake young master " An old man spoke up , Drawing Alexis eyes towards the source of the noise .
' Those eyes ' That look , The same look that accompanied that man in the forest rested apon him even now .
' That's where I recognise it from ... ' Alexi slumped , Thinking about his brothers , Sisters and the rest of his family .
" Please dress yourself... your family wishes for you to be at dinner promptly " His caregiver placed his neatly folded clothes on the end of his bed , Before the old man left him to his devices .
' I see ... even now they don't care ' A small movement out of the corner of his eye drew his attention , Where a small bug sat in the corner of his room , A cockroach .
Shivering as he stared at it , Alexi grabbed for his clothes and hastily got dressed , Running from the presence of the bug , One of his greatest fears ... fucking bugs .
He stepped out of the hospital room to find his lone caregiver already walking towards the hospital exit , Where he rushed to catch up to the older gentleman .

The car rolled to a slow stop infront of the large gates that lead to his families residence .
With the car coming to a stop , And several seconds of waiting . The black gates slowly drew open with a wine , The man standing guard of the gates allowing them entry .
' Maybe I should have simply stayed in the hospital ' Alexi thought as he sunk into his chair, The car chugging along up the long winding driveway to the estate .
They rounded the fountain at the centre of the parking lot before parking behind several other black automobiles .
" Come along now young master " The words were spoken with distaste , Clearing resentfullness heard in the man's tone as he stepped out of the cat, Alexi Wincing as he too walked towards the staircase that lead into the mansions proper.
" Can't we just ... not " Alexi spoke softly , shivering under the cold slightly, Grumbling as his caregiver simply ig ored him and walked up the stairs before reluctantly opening the door for him .
" Your family awaits your presence in the dinning room " The man stepped away to leave alexi to find his own way , As alexi looked around the fawyer.
The stairs that lead to the second floor of the mansion stood before him , He wished for nothing more than to ascend those stairs and head to his room , To fall asleep and forget everything .
But the wince in his side made him remember what he was requested. Where he turned to the right and entered an adjacent corridor , Stepping last several staff on his way before coming to stand infront of a large pair of double doors .
' Here we go ... into the den of predators ' He could hear the chatter beyond the door , And with a grumbled, He raised his hands and pushed the door open despite the pain that flared up in his side .
With the door opening , Alexi found himself Pinned by the gaze of the people beyond .
Everyone at the large , long table looking similar to eachother .
" Oh its just you ... not to worry everyone its just the fat boy " His eldest sister patricja dismissed him as he stepped forward into the room , Returning to talk to her husband whom had accompanied her to dinner .
" Hurry up alexi sit down " Ragna growled , His father Glaring down at him with pinched features as alexi hung his head and moved forward .
" You're late boy " Katrina, His mother hissed , Looking up from her dinner to glare harshly at him .
" I was ... " Alexi began only to yelp as a glass slammed into the table as she Pinned her son with a hate filled glare.
" Didn't ask ... don't care ... sit " Katrina glared down as alexi slowly pulled his chair out , His plump body squishing into his chair as his siblings chortled at his misfortune .
A harsh kick to the shin from his brother Bronte caused him to wince , His eyes gaining tears as his elder brother smirked and simply took some food off his plate .
" You don't need that right " Bronte ate the succulent meat before turning to his girlfriend whom held his arm gently .
" Right " Alexi slumped , Beginning to eat his dinner silently , Blending In and hiding away from the rest of the family.
...
THE NEXT DAY
...
Aizen looked at the finger he held in his hand , Reeking of the physical embodiment of fear , The finger of the cockroach devil .
It twitched of its own volition , The energy that had previously escaped its body , It's composition slowly bled back into its existing body parts .
" Can you ... feel my presence creature " The finger twitched on response , Causing aizens head to tilt in thought as he squinted at the supposedly alive appendage.
" You creatures are indeed very interesting ... yet ... now that I think about it ... you resembled a cockroach , cockroaches able to survive without their heads and other extremities for extended periods of time ... I suppose that may translate to the ability to survive extreme maiming and if not continue to exist despite losing limbs " Aizen regarded the finger for a moment as it quivered.
The ground shook behind aizen in response, As a cloud erupted and expanded outwards .
" Human ... " The cockroach devil stepped out of the cloud of dust , Regarding aizen with a weary gaze as aizen simply turned to the creature , Eyes sweeping over the environment as he forced everything around to be swept under the power of kyoka suigestu with a mere glance .
" I wish to make a contract " The cockroach devil slumped , Appearing smaller under aizens gaze , To seem for embeddable to the humans whims " In exchange for my finger "
It's monologue was stopped as aizen raised his hand , The devil shaking as a burst of energy rippled and wrapped around the devil .
" Hm ... " Aizen chuckled , Hand Curling around the devils finger , regarding the devil with a look of sheer superiority " Stop with you feble words creature ... two that we know you can talk ... explain to me ... what is a contract "
" A contract is a binding agreement between a human and a devil , Unless explicitly stated in the contracts formation , Neither may break their oathes , lest ... repercussions fall apon both " The devil explained , Curiosity taking over as the humans seemed to completely ignore their presence , Walking by without acknowledging them at all .
' What Is happening right now ' The creature thought as aizen pondered .
" Alright ... let's make a contract then " Aizen exclaimed ' Let's see '
" In exchange for My finger and a vow for you to remain impartial to my movements and help in my hunting ... what do you wish for " The cockroach devil asked , Noting its hunts would be significantly easier should the two work together to catch its meals .
" You to fight under my command " aizen spoke calmly ... evenly his lips Curling upwards with a look of understanding only he could know " until the day I die ... you will fight under my banner , My words and order and shall never betray my trust ... you shall have complete and utter loyalty towards myself... is that understood "
" Until the day you die ... " The devil spoke solemnly , Knowing very well if it agreed to this man's words , it would be tying itself to his whims.
' I miscalculated , This human has the power to kill me with ease and yet he is so nonchalant ... an interesting specimen ' The cockroach devil thought as it looked into aizens Imposing brown eyes , The man looking directly up into its eyes with dispassionate eyes .
" I ... agree ... this contract is sealed " It felt its soul , It's very being reach out to the human in an attempt to incorporate and complete the contract .
However , Much to aizens amusement and the cockroach devils complete and utter shock , neither received any form of resonance to confirm their contract to be complete.
' But that only happens when ... ' The cockroach devil leapt back in fear , As it realised it hadn't actually been Conversing with a human all along .
' Now that I think about it ' It took a deep breath , Singling aizens scent out from the air before shaking its nose ' That is not the scent of a human '
The antennae on its head shuddered and twitched around violently .
" Tell me , What are you , some kind of fiend ... what devil were you , What is your real identity ... I can't think of anyone capable of doing what you've done " It considered rushing away , Knowing that attacking aizen was out of the question , It was vengeful not stupid .
" You are mistaken devil " Aizen simply raised his hands to the side , Slowly beginning to be suspended in the air like some kind of deity .
" You should consider yourself blessed to stand in the presence of one such as myself... For you devils and humans should feel privileged to breath the same air as I " Before the devils eyes , The world bled away , Before it's gaze , A void of white standing between the two , A Limitless expanse of nothing but white expanding in all directions around the two .
The white canvas shuddered. The two appearing in a forest of cherry blossom trees, With a purple moon hanging from the sky , It's silhouette casting the environment in a kaleidoscope of odd colours .
A heartbeat resonated throughout the environment, The cockroach falling to the ground on its knees , aizen floating in the air infront of its position .
" For the benevolent God that I am has descended apon this harsh reality . Now feeble insect ... kneel before my magnificence " He pointed a finger at the cockroach devil, With a controlled burst of reitsu , The cockroach devil found the world falling on its shoudlers , its eyes fide with fear and terror as it found itself planted on the ground. The world around it shaking , Eyes rising to meet the chilled gaze of aizen himself .
' Impossible ... it can't be ' The cockroach devil shivered , tears running down its face as it shrunk away from the deities eyes .
" God ... " Aizens face went lax , Whilst a small smile toyed at the edge of his lips .
" That's right feble creature ... " Aizen simply tossed the devils finger towards the cokcroach devil, The finger flying through the air before landing before the creature .
" Take your finger feeble creature , know your place , As I stand atop the throne of heaven , Know your place amongst the ants. When I call for you , You will come you will obey or be destroyed " Aizen began to lower , Floating down to the creature with a smug smile on his face .
" whether it be here , Hell or the heavens ... know I will be watching , Run now devil ... flee and hide away in your little hole " The cockroach devil did just that , Finding itself back in kazan , it didn't waste a second , Grasping its finger in its hands and fleeing as fast as it could . Fleeing the presence with all the speed it could muster .
' Run ... as far and fast as you can creature ... it will not save you ' Aizen simply watched the creature depart , Running into the trees in the distance before his face contorted into a small frown , Before turning away and continuing on to where he was residing.
...
' Last night was a joke ' Alexi cursed under his breath , His uniform tight on his body as he slumped against the door of his caretakers car .
The pain in his side flared momentarily , Wincing for a second .
Treated as nothing but waste in his family . He was afterall the progeny of his mother's affair , The man she had an affair with ... his caregiver .
The old man was forced to take care of alexi , lest he be ... removed from the staff .
That was the agreement , Petricov would take care of alexi so noone in the family would have to .
Alexi knew it , They all knew it . He was the child of his mother's affair , Everyone hated him , his father ... his mother ... Including himself .
" Your studies have concluded for the day young master ... where to now " This was the usual routine ... study away from the estate , Stay away from the estate until dinner , And then leave for his room for the night until the next day , Rinse and repeat .
" Just ... drive " He spoke to his father , Looking through the cars mirror for a moment before sniffing and simply driving in some random direction " Please father "
They drove in complete silence for several minutes. Watching the old buildings simply pass by .
' Hundreds of years of architecture , Reduced to nothing by the appearance of some devil ' Alexi thought , Eyes looking dispassionately out the window of the automobile.
Yet something his eyes instinctively caught , Whether it be terror or instinct , His eyes locked onto the source of his bodies pain .
" Its him " Alexi froze as the car came to a stop at the lights , His entire body seizing as he spotted the man that had saved him in the forest before leaving him to die .
" What are you on about boy " His caregiver spoke up over the noise of traffic , Looking back at him through the mirror .
" Stop the car " Alexi spoke up after a moment .
" What " the man narrowed his eyes at the boys words .
" I said stop the car " Alexi retorted , Throwing the door to the car open before stepping out and making a B-line towards the entity .
He slumped infront of the man , Heaving and huffing as he planted his hands on his knees .
" well isn't this interesting " Alexi froze , The weight of the familiar voice freezing him in the place as he slowly raised his eyes to regard the man once more , And then it happened once more , He felt it , The weight of the world crashing apon his shoudlers .
The smile on the man's face was small but malevolent , Something that seemed natural on the man's face , And uncaring smile , The smile of something so far above one's self it put you in your place just by seeing it .
" The ant can stand "
....
" Young master " petricov spoke up as he watched the fat boy slump infront of the stand brown haired man " Stand up "
Aizen looked at the butler with a raised eyebrow , Regarding the man with a disinterested gaze , Instead he looked to the boy whom apparently had somehow survived the exposure to his reitsu .
" What is your name boy " Aizen asked , His tone grating against the caretakers ears , Inscenting the man for a moment as he made to speak up for his child .
" His name is " The man fell to his knees much to the shock of alexi , Grunting as his face became pale , The concrete under him cracking as his bones creaked and organs distorted .
" I wasn't asking you ... " Aizens tone was as final as it was powerful , Turning his gaze back to alexi whom was looking at his father in shock " Boy ... "
Alexi slowly raised his fat , Red cheeks up to aizens gaze . Shaking slightly as the weight of aizens spiritual pressure rested apon his shoudlers " What ... is your name "
" A... alexi vasilyev " Blue eyes met brown as aizen slowly lowered himself to Alexis level .
" And why young alexi , Have you brought yourself before me ... " Aizen asked , Slowly dissipating the weight of his spiritual pressure apon petricov for the moment .
" I ... " Just why had he done this , Why had he brought himself before the creature that could se easily end his life as easily as it could breath .
" I ... want " He looked to the side to see his father , The man that hated him , The man whom had made his life hell for so many years , Fallen to his knees, Brought low by a simple flexing of the man's whims .
' You look up at the man with such fear father ... is that what real power is ' He could see the terror father's eyes , Eyes rolling into the back of his head before falling ti the ground unconscious.
" I want ... to MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND ... I don't want to be scared any more , ... I want them to understand it ... " Alexi growled, Chubby hands slamming into the ground as he fell to his knees " I WANT THEM TO BE IN MY PLACE "
" hm " Aizen gave a small smile , Holding his hand out for the boy to take " That I can work with "
