章節 9: Arriving in Loyts
[I broke the lore just a tiny bit. I change the Roble holy kingdom into a state and church that are separate instead of together. This won't change anything really major or minor just wanted to inform you guy's]
I can see the city of Loyts from here. Being high up does that for you. There are a lot of caravan's coming and going from the city. Aaron did say it has a lot of commerce in the spring and summer time. I should start walking when I get close, flying in as I please may upset people. I land in the tree line and start my trek to the main road.
The eye's of the people in the passing caravan's are funny to see. They ask each other if their eye's are real and they are seeing an angel. Some of them even stopped to take a good look. I can now see the difference between them and the Bluefoot's. I keep walking the path until I approach the checkpoint and I can see obvious fear from the guard's. They have their weapon's ready and are prepared to fight.
"Wha...what are yo...you? And Wh...Wh...Why are you he...here?" The officer asks me. I will say I am getting tired of this song and dance. I quickly explain who I am and why I am here. They are tense to say the least. "We can't have you walking around here alone. For all we know you can be a shape shifter." A confident captain by the name of Rex say's to me.
"I will insist that you leave me alone. Or would you rather stand in my way?" I say to him. I am getting really sick of standing here. I can see the apprehension appear on his face.
"Fine, but we will be watching you." He warns me with a threatening voice. I don't know where you get the ball's to talk to someone like that, but it become's easy to predict someone like that.
~~~(POV Priestess Heart)~~~
"The creature is in the city. We have to use extreme caution dealing with this being." I finish saying. After about 10 minute's a man burst's into the main chamber.
"An angel has appeared in the city!!! He is on his way here!!!" The man yells. I and all of my college's are shocked to here this. A sentient angel's power is unbeatable for human's. I'm glad we are keeping the noble's away, but with the new's spreading so fast they will know.
After another 15 minute's the door's to the church open and in walk's a tall man clad in holy looking armor. His giant wing's spread out for a stretch. It's obvious he is extremely powerful, I can tell he is suppressing his already huge energy.
I put on a look of professionalism and ask the holy creature. "Why have you come to our little city holy one?" I ask in my humblest tone possible. Our live's mean nothing to an angel. So heeding his every request will have to do.

What a nice looking church. It's easy to tell that they spend a lot of money for this place. I look to the woman speaking to me and it's obvious that she work's here with those robe's. I should answer he question. "I was hoping for a place to stay for a couple of month's while I plan my journey." I tell the priestess. I was told they would help me, time to test that out.
"Why of course holy one, we would disgrace our god if we didn't help his child." She say's to me with a thoughtful tone. I didn't realize it would be this easy. I thought I would have to explain me story for the umpteenth time. Now I don't have to worry about lodging. I should ask them for more info tomorrow. It's gotten pretty late and the star's are already out.
"Do you mind if I stay here tonight? I don't have any money right now." I don't think they will allow an angel to sleep in a tavern. They are certainly friendly, this will make living here for the time being easier. I don't know what the currency is in this world. Well those are all question's for later.

I can't believe I laid my eye's in an actual angel. He asked us for shelter and food. It was an easy thing to accept. I don't think he will cause problem's for us as long as we keep our's away form him. It will only be a matter of time till the Baron and his noble's find out. I can already tell he is scheming for something. Those kind's of people don't leave un-ordinary thing's alone.
We set him up in the best house that the church own's. He is quite the intimidating force despite his kind disposition. I could see a great many reason's why we should be afraid, that armor alone is stronger than anything in this world. I wonder how the king's guard would fair against such a being. They are our countries mightiest warrior's, they could also have a check right in the ego.
"So do you think we can avoid the disaster that is to come Priestess Hearts?" I ask the girl for some good new's. If the noble's get out of hand then we will certainly suffer the wrath of the divine being.
"No, we cannot avoid ruin on our own. Baron Willer has already set plan's in motion to interfere with the angel. We must contact the crown, in Hoburn's. Without the king keeping the Baron in check, there will be devastation for city."She tell's me with a grim look. Thank god she is a fantastic seer. We would have fallen long ago.
"I will send a magic message first light. The sooner they know the sooner they can send someone to deal with those greedy men." I tell Priestess hearts. Who know's if the king will help or not. The church and state are separated here. Despite our kingdom's name.
~~~(POV Baron Willer)~~~
"Wow an actual angel has shown up at our city?" I ask Marcus, my spy who is watching the church.I never would have thought a creature of such power existed here. With his power I can seize the crown for myself. Now how do I get in contact with him. That even isn't the hard part, getting him to agree will be. I could always find a way to force him. Everything has a weakness, even divine being's.
"Keep watching him report anything I might be able to use against him in case of his unwillingness to help us." I order Marcus. He give's me an empty look and leave's. That guy creep's me out, but he is great at his job. He also love's money so it's easy to keep hi in check.

This is the perfect opportunity to expose the Baron to the king. I was assigned by his Majesty to look over the vile man. Seem's his worries were right. I was told to come only with irrefutable proof of this man's betrayal. Now I can get it and rid this city of these parasite's. Once they are gone then this place will thrive unlike anything before. I am worried about this angel. I don't have magic, but I could still feel the power coming off of him. What a terrifying monster, if you ask me he as no business in this plane of existence and should go back to heaven. I will inform the king tomorrow, this could become a horrible mess if we don't play this right.
[I won't be updating everyday anymore. I will be updating within 2 to 3 day's. This help's take the pressure off and I can focus on making the story better. I hope this doesn't upset to many of you but I have a life to. Thank's for reading!!!]
