Coach Henri saw the match with a small smile. When he saw Cindy beaten by Gabby, he wasn't surprised. The man walked over to them and helped Cindy up.
"Now you know why I prefer Gabby to you, right?" Coach Henri asked.
Cindy's face and eyes were still red from the match. The girl clenched her fists, ignoring Coach Henri's question. She limped over to the seat near her friends.
Gabby, still lying on the ground, wiped off the sweat in her face with the back of her hand. Coach Henri gave a chuckle and then extended his hand toward Gabby. After the girl stood up, Coach Henri turned around.
"Now, who still diagrees if I choose Gabby to represent our school?" Coach Henri smiled derisively. "Come over here and have a match against Gabby,"
The group of girls who were rooting for Cindy then lowered their heads. The school field suddenly fell into silence, no sound was heard like earlier. Except for Gabby's breathing which sounded wheezing.
