Elsa's thoughts were in turmoil, scattered and chaotic. She wanted Chris too she admits but it is the night of the ball and people will look for them, like her grandmother for example. She found herself torn between saying yes or no.

And since she can't seem to make up her mind, Chris helps her make a decision. He sealed their lips in a fervent kiss and Elsa did not withdraw her lips. His hands started to roam her back and sides, which soon went to her front unbuttoning her lace bolero.

He removed that piece of fabric from Elsa and asked between their kisses, "What is the use of this anyway when your bosom and back were exposed?"

"I was trying to make the gossipers think more so they couldn't sleep. Your people are spreading rumors of you bedding me but not marking me since you will leave me eventually. So I hid my neck for them to wonder if I was marked or not since they could smell that we had already slept together."
