章節 6: chapter 6 The Battle Begins
As Jake and The Enlightened moved closer to the source of the commotion, he couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation and dread. He had never been in a battle before, and he wasn't sure what to expect.
As they arrived at the scene, Jake saw a group of people gathered in a circle, surrounding what appeared to be a group of thugs. The thugs were armed and dangerous, and Jake knew that they had to be stopped.
Without hesitation, The Enlightened sprang into action. Mia manipulated time and space, Liam moved objects with his mind, David communicated telepathically with the group, and Amanda controlled the elements.
Jake watched in amazement as his friends used their unique abilities to take down the thugs one by one. He knew that he had to do his part, so he focused on copying their skills and making them his own.
Soon, Jake was able to join in the battle, using the skills he had copied to take down the remaining thugs. He felt a sense of exhilaration as he fought alongside The Enlightened, knowing that he was making a difference.
As the battle came to an end, Jake couldn't help but feel proud of himself and his friends. They had worked together to protect the innocent and stop those who sought to do harm.
However, as the group began to make their way back to their headquarters, Jake noticed a sense of unease amongst his friends. They all seemed to sense that something big was coming, something that would test their skills and their resolve.
Jake couldn't shake the feeling that the events in South Asia were somehow connected to what they had just experienced. He knew that he needed to prepare himself for whatever was coming next, and he could only hope that The Enlightened would be ready for it too.
The battle was just the beginning, and Jake knew that the real fight was yet to come.
