Situ Xin really wanted to roll her eyes and say, "Don't all of you have kids? Why not go pinch your own children's cheeks." However, this was just an inward rant of Situ Xin's, something she'd never actually say. After all, their children were all around seventeen or eighteen years old, and it wouldn't be proper to pinch the cheeks of kids that big.

However, there were benefits to accepting godparents as well; Situ Xin received many gifts, and many of them were quite valuable. Although she already had plenty in her Personal Space, she would never complain about having too much of a good thing. Hence, when receiving gifts, her mouth almost stretched to her ears with a broad smile.

After the godparent ceremony was over, Situ Xin truly relaxed, with nothing much to do. Her mother's arranged leave for her had yet to end, and she was looking forward to a good, lazy sleep.
