Princess Liviana's POV
"What the fck are you wearing?" He hissed as he looked at me from head to toe. His eyebrows knitted and he looked really mad.
I looked at my aqua blue tube gown. The Queen picked this gown for me, she also did my make-up herself and I liked the result. "What's the problem? I think it fits well on me." I said as I inspect my gown. "Your bowtie compliments my gown." I said.
He pinched the bridge of his nose as if he's getting madder. "You're too revealing, your shoulder, your nape, your back, your chest." He enumerated.
"It's called cleavage, your highness." I corrected him. I pointed my breast while looking at him. "It's part of my breast." I explained.
"I know!" He shouted and diverted his gaze. I noticed his ears turned red. "Stop showing off too much skin, will you?" I saw how his adam's apple moved up and down as he gulped. I walked near to him and touched his ears. He instantly jolted and moved away from me. "What are you doing!?" He yelled.
"I wonder why your ears turned red, and it's hot." I exclaimed.
"It's not red." He denied as he touched his ears. "Cover your cleavage, your breast, whatever you called it." He requested.
"I decline." I said plainly.
"What?" He looked at me furiously.
"It will ruin my gown. Do you know anything about fashion?" I asked.
"The hell I care with fashion." He said. "You'll cover that part of your body that supposedly for my private viewing only, or we will not going." My jaw dropped as he seated comfortably on the couch.
"Pervert." I said as I looked at him sharply. He just smirked.
"Will you two stop arguing? You'll be late." The Queen spoke.
"You're dazzling, Lili." Colten walked near me and hugged me.
"Thank you!" I lowered my body and gave him a kiss on his chick that made him giggled.
"Fck! Will stop kissing my brother?!" The ugly one shouted angrily. He even kicked the table in front of him.
"I decline, your highness. He's too cute to resist." I said as I smiled at Colten.
"I like it as well, Conrad. Do not interfere." Colten said that made us all laugh.
"What the fck you little—"
"Little, yet handsome man. Am I correct, Lili?" Colten winked at me. I nodded as I chuckled.
"You're getting Connor's level of self-confidence." He remarked.
"Well, that's the truth that no one cannot deny." Connor blurted out.
"Stop this none sense argument." The Queen said. "You two should get going now." She instructed us.
The King and the Queen were invited in a founding celebration of one of their allied kingdom. Unfortunately, the King got flu, so he wasn't able to attend. They decided that the Crown Prince and I will attend on their behalf. All kingdoms are invited, so I was hoping to see Prince Elias on the party.
"You look excited." He said.
"I was hoping to see my brother at the party. I miss him." I exclaimed.
"I see." He said and did not speak any more until we reached the venue of the party.
Once we arrived, we were welcomed by the King and the Queen of the kingdom. The Crown Prince apologized on behalf of his father.
We bumped into his royal friends and their partners and wives. I got goosebumps when he introduced me as his wife. I was relieved when he never leaves me, but I was bothered by his warm hands. I got a tingling sensation every time he holds my hand, or touches back. My gown is backless, so he's touching my bare skin for Pete's sake. Now, I regret not taking his advice to cover my skin. Geez.
He mingled with every royalty in the whole ballroom while I was forced to do the same. I've been to few parties before, but I still preferred to stay at home. I was also busy looking for my brother if he's here.
"Looking for me?" I instantly turned around when I heard his familiar voice. I walked near him and threw myself on him to give him a big hug. "Oh, gracious, Lili! Careful, please!" He exclaimed as he chuckled. "I missed you too." He said as he caressed my back.
"Hands off, please." I immediately broke the hug when I heard his baritone and deep voice. He looked furious. What is it this time? He held my hand and dragged me back beside him. He did not let go. "I know you're related, but I became too greedy now that she's mine." He said seriously. Where that came from?
"What the hell are you saying?" I whispered to him. "May I remind you that the man in front of you is your brother-in-law?" I hissed.
I heard my brother chuckled. "I don't mind, Lili. He has all the right to be greedy, especially almost all the bachelors in this room are checking on you." He said as he winked at me. I felt his grip on my hand tighten.
"You're kidding." I said as I chuckled. I eyed him, and I got nervous when I sense that he's fuming. I sighed and decided to hold his arm. He looked at me cautiously. "He's just messing around." I said to him, trying to calm him down.
"Oh, I'm not, little sister. Look around you." Prince Elias said as he giggled. I signaled him to stop because the man beside me is hot temper as a wolf. I was about to open my mouth to scold my brother, but I stopped to see him putting his coat on my shoulder. Then, I felt his hand on my waist, and he pulled me closer to him. "That's more like it." I heard my brother said as he tapped my shoulder and walked away.
"What will I do to you, my Princess? I am becoming more and more of myself nowadays." He said while looking straight into my eyes. His brown eyes are glowing again. "This will be a long night for the both of us, my Princess."
