Her statement made me so angry that I almost cursed her
"This man here gave up his children for your happiness"
"I know and I appreciate his effort"

She pushed me out of her way and left but I followed her but got stopped immediately I saw the man she came with
His face looks so familiar and am sure I saw it somewhere but I don't know where and he is younger than her
"Goodbye Leah" she entered the car and wave at me
I felt bad for my father as I kept staring at him, I wish I could summon flora which was impossible in my world; I had to stay because of my father and staying here means I had to find a better job so I could take care of my father
Although I hated him so much all these while but I couldn't deny the fact that he was my father and he was once a loving father who cares a lot about his children.
My mind drift back to Tyler but I could do nothing but wait for now, am not giving up on him not in this life
I took my phone and called my best friend kellen who seems to be so busy with work but I was glad when I saw her after an hour
"Hello princess" she said while hugging me around my neck
"Kellen, I need your help please"
"What is it?"

She was excited as she pulled me close to her while ruffling my hair as if I was a child
She can be crazy at times but I love her that way
'Am glad my Leah is back'

She called her cousin who was working in a company overseas, he recommends a friend company to me to work as a secretary
I couldn't wait for tomorrow to come so I could resume my work but I kept thinking about Tyler and am worried about my father so I told kellen about it and about jean leaving

"I will employ someone that will be taking care of him for now girl you got to cheer up aye"

I stood by the window watching the field where shane always had his lunch when I felt her arms around me

"Please don't turn, Leah while you were away I did something horrible which I kept regretting"

"I slept with nick" she blurt out and held me tighter as if she was holding on to her dear life
I could see how guilty she felt as I gently pull away from her and held her chin, she was trembling but I smiled at her as she stare at me looking so confused
"Its okay kel, you can date Nick"
"What?"
"Kel listen to me I have been away for two months and I met new people and also my love interest is no longer Nick"

"I met someone that is meant for me kel, you and Nick will make a perfect couple"
She hugged me immediately as she wept bitterly, I did all I could to calm but to no avail as she fell asleep while crying in my arms
Nick held the crystal ball that was glittering when his mom came in and found him, she snatch it immediately from him as she gasped in terror
"Don't you ever lay your hand on this" she warn sternly
"Why mom?"
"It's not meant to be here"
"Why?"
"Stop asking questions"
He knew something was off in the way she is behaving and he must find out what she is hiding but how?
"Don't touch or go near the crystal ball Nick"
"Why is it not place in the museum like the others?"
"Oh Nick please stop asking a question that I can't answer, this crystal is the only thing I have that is from your father"
"Father is dead long ago and how is this related to him?"
"I wish I could tell you"
"If you don't tell me mom, am leaving and will never return to you forever, you will lose me too"
She gasped in fear
"The crystal had something to do with your father's death"
"WHAT?"
"He said that it could take you back in time but he was damn wrong, he wanted to save his dying mother, I warned him not to try anything stupid because it might be dangerous but he wouldn't listen, I found him in a pool of blood in his room and this damn crystal was shining so bright"
"How does that have anything to do with dad?"
"I saw it"
"What?"
"I saw him, his eyes were as red as scarlet, he was too handsome and yet bloody with a very long hair but deadly"
"Who is he?"
"The devil, he killed your father"
"Mom, this doesn't make any sense, you said yourself that dad's body is nowhere to be found, none of these make any sense"
"Your dad is somewhere in this crystal because he vanished into it and I need someone who could make this damn thing glow so I could go in there and save him myself"

He remembered the crystal was glittering when Ariana held it
How can he get to Ariana?
And does it even make sense, he has to find out in other to save his father
