She leaned back against the chair and closed her eyes as she explained, "She seems fine... Happy even. But you're right. Ah Jie is not with her. She said he went missing two years ago... But she's waiting for him to come back."

Murong Yu nodded. He already knew that; he just wanted to see how Xiao Lei was. "That man... The one who picked her up earlier. Who was he?"
