"Pay up? But I don't carry cash on me."

Zayla was almost in tears. She could not tell which was the bad luck. Going to Robin's office, her father's call, or going to Sabrina's office to demand the villa. 

It was sad the way her day turned out and she felt terrible about it.

"It's alright Zayla, these things happen sometimes," Zeresh comforted her and said to the waiter, "Here, use this card."

The waiter swiped the card and nodded his head. "Your receipt ma'am." 

He glanced at Zayla with disgust before leaving the table. Zayla never faced such embarrassment in her life and she would have cried if not for the fact that she wanted to put on a strong face in front of her best friend.

"Where are you going now?" Zayla asked Zeresh when they reached the car. "I will send the money to you later. This is supposed to be my treat."
