"Running away, huh?" He says with a chuckle. A dark chuckle that sent chills down her spine.

She knew what's happening and instantly the warmth of Ezra turned into a cold hearted man which she didn't want to encounter. "I… I can explain."

Just then the elevator of the penthouse lobby opens and in comes a squad of police surrounding the area. Her heart jumped in her chest when she spotted the person, the demon in an angel's disguise; Ferdinand. "Running away somewhere Ms. Stella Robinson? Or should I say Mrs. Scarlett Martinez?"

She shakes her head, unable to believe how fast her undercover was busted. This is impossible as the news channels didn't telecast any pictures with her face on display then how did Ferdinand get his intel on her?
