As long as I heard the conversation at this large round table, I often caught the look in Jace's eyes that was given to me. Out of the corner of my eye, he glanced at me again. I was a little disturbed by him glaring like that. Even though deep in my heart, I missee his gaze. Not the look of hostility he gave me earlier, but his intense and gentle gaze.
Carter cleared his throat softly beside me. He seemed to know that Jace who was sitting with Katelyn had been watching me closely, which made him turn away from me.
