The three men engaged in playing chess as well as eating and enjoying the wine. The atmosphere between them was in harmony since they were best brothers since young. Although Ryota was younger than Kyoya and Shou who were at the same age, he mingled with them perfectly. 

"Ah, I'm glad I could skip on work today," Shou let out a sigh of relief. He slumped his back against the chair, watching Ryota moving the chess piece, "The hospital has grown hectic ever since the days turn even colder."

"Do you mean, due to seasonal flu?" Kyoya picked on the variety of nuts inside a big bowl. His movement was lazy as he slowly peeled the shell one by one.

"My assistant caught a cold," Ryota chimed in, his attention was still on the chessboard, "I hope he could get better soon. Work has been piling up, man."

Shou cast a look at Kyoya before his eyes moved to Ryota, "Are you actually dissing your boss right in front of his face due to your work?"
