Chapter 153: Purity's Advent (3)
~Third POV~
[The Next Day, Honnouji Academy]
Ryuko and Mash met up with Mako on the tram again and walked with her to school. Ryuko yawned tiredly as Mako curiously asked in an innocent tone, "What's wrong Ryuko? Didn't get much sleep?"
Seeing the tiredness Ryuko yawned as Mash filled Mako in about last night in a nonchalant tone shrugging his shoulders, "She stayed up all night studying of sorts. Besides – wait? What the hell is going on?"
The trio walked upon the courtyard, where flags and banners were arranged in a way that it looked like a small fighting arena at the center. Then a bright light shone from the main tower as Ryuko growled fully awake, "Satsuki Kiryuin."
The lady of war stood proudly sporting a new outfit as she called out to Ryuko walking down the long stairs towards the schoolyard in a commanding tone, "You finally came, Ryuko Matoi!!"
Ryuko got annoyed, Mako looked confused. Mash responds in a deadpan tone, "Drama queen much?"
However, from where he saw Satsuki came with superhuman hearing as her sharp eyes zeroed in on his comment Ryuko asked in an annoyed tone, "To what do I owe the honor of this grand welcome?"
Satsuki walks down with a confident grin getting closer to the down level with the students as she begins to reply in a stoic tone to Matoi's question, "It was you who said that when we next me, you would settle matters once and for all, remember?"
Ryuko paused at this with Mako crossing her arms agreeing with a light nod in a cheerful tone with some hand gestures, "Yeah Ryuko! You were all like "Mark my words! Next time I'll finish this once and for all!"
Mash nodded his head agreeing lightly reminding the hot-blooded teenager in a calm tone with a light grin on his face, "Well, you HAVE challenged Satsuki to a fight about every day since we transferred here. In hindsight, I'm surprised you DIDN'T expect her to finally challenge you."
A bemused smirk could be seen on his face as Ryuko froze for a bit recalling challenging her before brushing it off asking for her friends in a serious tone, "Oh yeah. Guess I did say that. You two get back."
Mako easily agreed as Mash stared at Satsuki's outfit turning to leave muttering to Ryuko passing by a piece of advice in a serious tone said, "Careful Gear Eyes she's got her own Kamui. I'll have your back if it's too much for you."
Ryuko silently nodded as he left to the sidelines watching the battle. Satsuki glanced at his back before turning her attention to Ryuko in a calm tone, "Rejoice, Ryuko Matoi. You will be my first sacrifice to my Junketsu Matoi."
Ryuko just smirked as she readied her own Kamui in a challenging matter with a glint of arrogance in her eyes as she spoke in a taunting tone, "Hmph! Purity? Are you sure you have something pure?!"
Satsuki doesn't respond but she and Ryuko activate their Kamui's as everyone moves back away from the transformation. Satsuki closed three clasps in her left arm as her uniform activated, bursting into a bright cobalt light as she said in a determined tone, "[Life Fiber Override: Kamui Junketsu]!"

When she activated her Kamui Junketsu's two eyes were located on the neck lapel. On the upper part of the left sleeve is a blue metal band with three clasps; this is the blood-drawing device used to transform Junketsu. The wearer closes the clasps, activating three syringes that draw out some of their blood.
[KAMUI JUNKETSU]
Ryuko was genuinely surprised still to have her guard up as Satsuki responded in a proud tone demonstrating her Kamui, "You are not the only one in possession of a Kamui. This is my Junketsu! Foolish of you to think that you alone possessed a Kamui."
However, Mash couldn't help but voice his own opinion from the sidelines with a bead of sweat trickling down his face in a deadpan tone, "Bloody hell these two have no sense of shame."
Contrary to popular belief Ryuko and Satsuki each sent him a glare. This confused him till he uttered forgetting they could hear him in their powered state, "The hell are they – right. Superhuman hearing in their slutty attires."
Ryuko turned her head back to yell at him with a red blush evident on her face, "SHUT THE FUCK UP, YA PERVERT!"
His eyes twitched as he decided to argue back stating his opinion out loud for all to hear with shame considering the situation raising his voice, "OI! HOW IS THAT MY FAULT?! WHAT DO YA EXPECT ME TO DO, NOT STARE? IT'S NOT MY FAULT YOU ARE FULFILLING EVERY MAN'S DREAM ENJOYING TWO HOT WOMEN IN A CATFIGHT!"
Every male student of Honnouji Academy that were cultured nodded sagely agreeing to his words with Ryuko blushingly madly in a stunned tone, "Why that stupid little piece of shit…"
Satsuki on the other hand found it amusing as she smirked in his direction, "Every man's dream, eh?"
Ryuko glared seeing Satsuki's attention drift to him. Senketsu seeing this sighed mentally to himself in a neutral tone, 'Sigh… Teenagers. A human's girl heart is like a battlefield. Ryuko should be more honest with her feelings.'
Seeing the confrontation between the two the battle began. The difference was clearly shown extremely quickly as Satsuki effortlessly parried Ryuko's frenzied attacks while overwhelming her with casual swings at the same time.
After her first clash with Ryuko, Satsuki donned the Kamui Junketsu and was able to force the blood-thirsty uniform to bow to her will. Her utter lack of shame at her appearance also allowed her to immediately attain Junketsu's Life Fiber Override and true form.
Under Junketsu's power, Satsuki is granted incredible power, and even the smallest of attacks can cause exceptional devastation. She is also capable of altering her Kamui's shape, as seen when she altered one of her shoulder guards into a drill to attack Ryuko as she avoided shouting out loud surprised, "What the hell! That could've poked my eyes out you bitch – "
However, due to her inability to overcome the human race's resistance to the Life Fibers, she is unable to fully synchronize with her Junketsu, thus being shy of its full power and capabilities, while exerting greater pressure and fatigue on her body. Yet despite this...
*BAM*
*BOOOM*
With only a light tap of Bakuzan's hilt, Ryuko was sent rocketing back towards the main building as she demonstrated the abilities of her Kamui in a neutral tone, "The power of a Kamui is simply fantastic. All that power at your disposal and THIS is all you can do with it? Laughable."
*SWOOOSH*
*BOOOM*
*CLANG*
Satsuki soon followed suit before rumbling and clashing of blades was heard all over the courtyard as the school was being destroyed in the commotion. Mash commented impressively, "Whew… they are going all out there. At the rate, their going the School's going to get blown to bits."
*BOOOM*
The battle eventually found itself back in the courtyard with a battered Ryuko crashing into the center as Mako yelled out loud worried, "Ryuko!"
Ryuko couldn't even stand up with the help of her weapon as her uniform spontaneously de-transformed into her normal state. Satsuki soon landed beside Ryuko and picked her up by the hair, her expression clearly in pain as the lady of war spoke in a disappointed tone, "Pathetic. The Kamui saved you from passing out from blood loss. But in a dormant Kamui, you might as well be naked."
Ryuko struggles a bit in pain as Satsuko pulls her by the hair and defiantly says gazes locking to each other, "I'm not sure how I feel about being laughed at by you in that exhibitionist getup…"
*Thud*
Ryuko was tossed to the side as Satsuki spread her arms wide, grandiosely posing for all the world to witness her in all of her glory in a proud tone, "Exhibitionist? Nonsense! This is the form in which a Kamui can unleash the most power! The fact that you are embarrassed by the values of the masses only proves how insignificant you are! If it means fulfilling my ambitions, I, Satsuki Kiryuin, will show neither shame nor hesitation, even if I bare my breasts for all the world to see! My actions are immaculate!"
Seeing Satsuki drawing her blade Mash spoke to Mako in a confident tone, "Looks like she's in a jam. Mako, do the thing and I'll stall!"
Mako nodded her head agreeing immediately rushing behind Mash…
*Swooosh*
Before Satsuki could deliver the final blow, a hand casually tapped her on the shoulder pad. She turned around with a glare seeing him smirk as he spoke in a confident tone, "I call switch in Gear Eyes. Take a breather –"
*PEW*
Tilting his head avoiding a drill spike from her Kamui took some distance back having Satsuki's attention directed at him. Mako was providing moral support ignoring her seeing the enigma in front of her.
Raising her sword Bakuzan her glare directed at him only commanded coldly, "Come, Mash Bastion."
He laughed at the phrasing holding his cross Add into his hand scolding Satsuki in a lighthearted tone giving her a nickname, "Eyebrows you gotta explain or people would assume you dirty girl."
*SWOOOSH*
Narrowly avoiding a trusted sword strike trusting his [Instinct]. Satsuki thought in a neutral tone wearing her Kamui in confidence, 'Even with his abnormal strength it means nothing to me. I now possessed a Kamui, the odds would be even – ack!'
*Tmp*
Suddenly with one tap on her arm, Mash used his skills [Healing Magic] and [Mana Drain] at the same time immediately making Junketsu react violently as he scolded Satsuki in a neutral tone with his head held high, "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Eyebrows you gotta learn this the hard way. Just because you have your wedding dress or Kamui on doesn't mean YOU are on equal footing as I mongrel."
Taking some distance back away Satsuki managed to regain control over Junketsu who went almost berserk eyeing the opponent in a different light. Satsuki even noticed that her Kamui released steam despite not using that much of her stamina and energy but merely touching her nearly made her Kamui nearly go berserk.
Not having been used to being on this side before and her Kamui reacting this negatively towards any living being to her knowledge seemed impossible. Seeing he wasn't reacting or continuing she spoke in her usual stoic tone with a glint of curiosity in her eyes, "Tell me, Mash Bastion. What do you know?"
Instead of fighting she tried to gather information with him lightly grinning and crossing his arms seeing no need to use Add said in a neutral tone, "I know a lot while you don't know much. Especially since you only tamed that awful thing you call Junketsu never fully accessing its true power because of its animalistic and demonic nature. Ugly thing you ask me."
Satsuki held a firm gaze locking on him as she frowned with a single thought passing through her head in a cautious tone, 'He even knows about my Junketsu own nature just by seeing it?!! Just who exactly are you…'
*SHIII*
However, she didn't have time to ponder this train of thought as he smirked stating a fact stalling enough time in a happy tone, "Hmm? Oh, good. Seems like Gear Eyes is back in order again we'll talk later Eyebrows."
Satsuki turned around to see Ryuko triggering her transformation again. But this time, her outfit seemed more energized, and her hair was shaped in the process of transforming. It seemed almost perfect… and then the name came again.
[LIFE FIBER SYNCHRONIZE: KAMUI SENKETSU]
Ryuko returned for another round with a grin on her face thanking Mash as he took to the sidelines in a genuine thankful tone, "Thanks for stalling Satsuki Mash. Sorry, you had to butt in my fight… but this time it's different. I got it from here."
Moving past her he spoke in a confident tone directed toward Ryuko with a grin, "I know. Don't get your ass kicked so soon Gear Eyes."
She snorted at his words but missed a light blush on her face as he passed her by. But she soon returned her attention to Satsuki brandishing her Scissor Blade in an angry tone, "Let's do this, Satsuki Kiryuin!"
Satsuki who remained mildly astonished throughout the ordeal, allowed a smirk to emerge on her features as she gripped her blade tightly in a stoic tone, "It appears that the battle shall not be uneventful after all. Come, Ryuko Matoi!"
Both Ryuko and Satsuko surged forward continuing their battle.
*BOOOM*
The battle between both Kamui wearers was fierce and roughly equal as opposed to the previous one-sided match. Both women roared as they clashed blades for the final time, creating a massive shockwave explosion that cleared absolutely everything off the courtyard in the process.
*BOOOOM*
Mako stayed behind Mash as he seemed unaffected by their resulting clash indifferent to the damage taken. The blast subsided not too long after.
There was a tense silence as both Kamui wearers stood in place before Ryuko dropped on a single knee and was at Satsuki's mercy but spoke in a tired tone, "… I'm gonna crush them."
Despite her words, Ryuko still gave Satsuki a ferocious glare as she responded in a stoic tone, "What did you say?"
Ryuko merely grinned defiantly as she steadily stood back up again explaining her goal with fiery determination in her eyes as she said defiantly, "I don't know nor care what you're thinkin', but I'm gonna take all that bullshit you sprout about ambitions and aspirations and crush every one of 'em! That's gotta lose your lips a little."
Satsuki pointed her blade at Ryuko. After a brief stare down, she chuckled and lowered her katana while walking partway up the stairs and said amused, "You're going to crush my ambitions, aren't you? How amusing…"
She turned around with a loud clicking of her heels and said in her usual stoic tone, "Honnouji Academy is my kingdom! If you say you will topple it all by yourself, then consider your challenge accepted! Starting tomorrow, all clubs will be after your heads! Do you still think you can win!"
Mako and Mash both helped get Ryuko to her feet as she replied in a defiant tone glaring daggers at Satsuki, "Wrong… not by myself, but with Senketsu and my friends! And you can bet your ass I do!!"
Standing up and slowly raising her Scissor Blade Satsuki responded to Ryuko's challenge in an authoritative tone, "So be it. Defeat every student the school has to offer. Should you succeed, Junketsu and I shall face you once more."
Managing to stand on both her legs she pointed her Scissor Blade at Satsuki in a determined tone with a fiery glare, "Bring it on bitch! And when I win, you're gonna sit and tell me the entire story, you that?!"
Satsuki curtly nodded her head in a stoic tone, "We are in agreement, then."
Satsuki kept her gaze on the two of the three teenagers who challenged her undefeatable Kingdom in a neutral tone, "Ryuko Matoi, I shall mold you into a powerful soldier to my cause."
Then she turned to her main object of interest before turning around retreating to her tower as she spoke in a serious tone, "Mark my words Mash Bastion, you are a mysterious being. You officially don't exist, and you appeared out of thin air. But your anonymity is nothing to me. Make no mistake, I, Satsuki Kiryuin, will solve every one of those mysteries… and only then I will test you."
