"And why so? Why are you trying to keep up with me?" He asked sharply.

William looked at him with a hidden flare in his eye "I was just trying to keep up with you, is it wrong? You wasn't me to be left here alone."

Louise wanted to retort but he didn't have the right words, so he started to walk again without looking back at William.
