章節 2: The Start of Something New
During a break in the training, Kat was sitting by herself eating lunch and thinking about what life as a kunoichi would be like. She felt a tap on her shoulder breaking her out of her thoughts. Glancing up she noticed the same boy with black hair and dark eyes. Smiling she moved over a little bit so he could sit next to her.
"I don't mind if you sit next to me I don't bit." Kat smiled.
The boy smiled. "Thank you."He sat next to her and held out his hand. "I'm Itachi Uchiha. Who are you beautiful?"
Blushing, Kat accepted the handshake. "Katherine Haruno. But my friends call me Kat. So, you must be excited to start your career as a ninja."
Itachi nodded. "I will always protect the village as well as my family. Do you have any siblings?"
Nodding Kat smiled. "I have a younger sister named Sakura. What about you?"
Itachi nodded also. "Same here. But it's a younger brother named Sasuke. I would do anything for my baby brother as I'm sure you would for your sister."
Kat smiled. "I love my sister. As annoying as she acts, she's my blood. I would die for Sakura as you would for Sauske I'm sure."
"I would kill for my brother." The smile faded from Itachi's face because something caught his attention.
"What's wrong?"
Itachi said nothing before drawing a kunai from his pouch and crouching down in the hunting position.
Seeing the look on Itachi's face Kat assumed the position. "What or who might go after Sasuke or Sakura? We have to make sure that they're ok."
