Ellie
Staying in bed was getting unbelievably boring. Ellie didn’t know how much longer she was going to be able to tolerate it. Luckily, she’d been cleared by the pack medic to get up once she could demonstrate that she had the ability to keep her balance while walking to the restroom and was strong enough to walk that far on her own without having to stop or getting winded.
She’d just finished lunch when Sarah, the pack healer, came into the room with Luna Patricia.
“Hi!” Sarah said with a cheerful smile. “How are you, Ellie? Are you feeling okay?”
“Yes, I’m feeling great,” Ellie said, meaning it. Her back was still a little sore, and she had some scratches that were pretty deep that hadn’t completely healed, but other than that, she was in pretty good shape.
