章節 223: Befriending The Enemy

After the incident with Agnes, they stayed in Drakin for a while to sort things out. The castle had to go through repairs. Surprisingly, Agnes survived her plummet to the ground. 

She was barely breathing and she had broken nearly every bone in her body. She begged for someone to kill her, for the amount of agony she was in, but no one heed her pleas. 

Once most of the matters were settled and Alistair and Sierra were well enough to travel, they immediately set forth for Cair. They had sent word ahead of time of their impending arrival, so everything was ready to go. 

"Do we really need to rush it like this? We could always wait a while before-"

"Wait?" Alistair mused as he cupped Sierra's chin, "I can't wait anymore, sweetling. I am tired of not being married to you."

Sierra blushed beet red. She pulled herself away from him and punched him on the arm.
