A few seconds have passed and the guards have surrounded him. The receptionist steps forward and asked bluntly with a smug on her face, "Who are you looking for? Are you trying to steal the works of many blacksmiths here?"
He thought to himself about this and began doubting about Daulitos, 'Don't tell me that short man was telling me false information'
The question of the receptionist is not answered by Arden. As time went past, the receptionist became more and more agitated. She barked at him, "Can you speak!? If not, you can leave this building!"
He looked around him for a few seconds before shouting the answer to the original question, "I'm searching for a man called Daulitos! Anybody here knows about him other than these people?"
There is a silence for a few seconds and suddenly, the guards that surrounded Arden, the Karen and her follower and the receptionist laughed loudly.
Some of them dropped to the floor and began touching their stomach. The receptionist wiped the water that came from her eye and said, "There is no such man as Daulitos! That's probably your partner in this scam, now go out or we have to use force"
Arden looked around at them with a thought running across his mind, 'That Daulitos might really scam me! Either way, I can't fight these guards here, they are simply too many for me to handle"
Accepting his defeat, he began walking toward the door and left the building. Afterwards, he sat at the small flight of stair in front of the building and just wonder what to do while his face facing the ground.
'What should I do? Explore the city? I already did that, I need to find a way to relief this boringness' he makes a little bit sad face while thinking about that and a person came to him.
Initially, he didn't notice about her, but her shadow blocked the sun. The person crouched down and asked him about what happened, "Sir, what happened? Can I help you?"
Arden raised his head and saw the dark-skinned woman with her brown eyes near him. He quickly answered her question, "I need to find Daulitos, but I can't seem to find him and no one in this building knew anything about him"
The girl made a confused face before answering, "Who's Daulitos? I didn't know about him"
That's when Arden realized that he might've been tricked by this person called Daulitos. Surprisingly, the girl continued her words, "Anyway, Let's find him, I can bring you to this building here if you want!"
The girl stood up and Arden's eyes followed her, he began cheering up, "Let's go then! May I ask your name?"
Arden stands up after hearing this and the girl said with a very light tone in her voice, "No, My name is not important! Let's just go, you might know my name after seeing some of my friends working here!"
Arden smiled before nodding and both of them began heading up to the building Arden was kicked from. Not even a second after both of them stepped into the building, the receptionist noticed.
She shouted at the guards, "Guards! That man is back! Protect the important Blacksmith beside him and kick him out!"
The guards came rushing into him and surrounded the girl and him. That's when the girl said in the calmest voice Arden ever heard, "Don't worry, he is my guest, anyone that dares to threaten my guest, I'll make sure the headmaster of this building heard about this!"
Arden smiled, knowing he would have an important person backing him. He smiled even more after seeing the face of the guards and receptionist began doubting what to do and sweating nervously.
The girl turned to Arden and said, "Let's go to the 3rd floor, that's where my workplace is, while in the way, I'll explain more about the blacksmith society"
Both of them began heading up for the stair and make their way to the second floor. Suddenly, the girl began explaining to him about the blacksmith society.
"Listen carefully, there is much to explain to you. So, the blacksmith society is a community recently founded by a man that has an excellent talent on smithing. We didn't know about him and not even his name was leaked to the public. Also, the blacksmith society has many branches and this place is the second best one after the main building only the best of the best knew!"
Arden's eyes became glowing after receiving this knowledge and information. By this time, they already on their flight of stairs to the third floor while both of them is having fun talking.
"I'll continue, we have a ranking system to see measure the blacksmith and whitesmith, even though most of us here is a blacksmith. I'm on rank 3 and can visit up to the third floor of all the branches in this kingdom. According to our rank, we are given a symbol indicating what rank we are about. There is a total of 6 ranks This place only support rank 5 blacksmiths at most, the rank 6 is at the headquarter"
By this time, both of them have reached the third floor, Arden was excited hearing about this and wanted more. Sadly, he was disappointed by the girl saying, "This is all I knew, I can't give the details to others though, sorry"
He said, "okay" with a very weak tone and continue, "It's okay!"
After a few seconds of wandering through the many quarters, the blacksmith and whitesmith. Arden found himself in the quarter of the girl that brought him here.
It was a medium-size room that can be seen by the others walking by since there is no door or walls covering it. Just a wall being a barrier between the quarters of the other blacksmith and her.
The room consisted of an anvil, furnace, a bucket of water, and the wall with many hanging tools such as a chisel, hammer, sledgehammer and tongs.
Arden looked around and saw the other's quarters of others blacksmith relatively have the same thing as he. He was taken aback by how many tools were being used by the blacksmith as he only saw the tools Lannis work with.
As he sat at the chair that is provided by the girl in front of him. He asked to her, "You are going to do your work? Can I see it?"
The girl giggled at him before saying, "Of course you can! Why wouldn't I let you look?"
Arden smiled like a young boy at a candy store before sitting there curiously and wait for the girl to make something. Once she began making a simple sword, Arden looked at her works and technique attentively.
He copied and pasted it in his mind and continue to watch her did the work. Once she was done, a hard question struck Arden for him to answer, "Hey, you want to try to make something? I can let you make a simple sword!"
It took Arden a few moments to respond because, in his mind, a demon is raging up and cause trouble for his ability to decide, 'You will break her tools and she will be mad, then you will be kicked and not allowed here anymore, afterwards, you will be banished from the nobility and became a person that works on the field, hahahaha'
However, those words couldn't affect his decision, he said answered, "I will be pleased to do so!"
Both of them switched place, and the girl sat at the chair, while Arden faces the furnace and sighed while whisper repeatedly to himself, "You can do this Arden, you can!"
That's when an angel and a demon in his mind began agreeing to each other and said to him, 'You should make an armour instead of a sword'
The demon wanted him to fail, and the angel wanted him to succeed, he thought to himself, 'If I were to make an armour, she probably would be angry about it. However, if I can make it good enough, I think she won't be mad'
He was about to start making an armour but knowing she would be mad if Arden began making an armour. Another thought came to his mind, 'I'll tell her to go and let me work in her place for a night'
He began telling her the exact same thing in his mind to her, "Can you give me a night in here to work? I want to make something that will surprise you but it's not a sword"
She looked at him while raising her eyebrows and doubting about his skill. She chooses to believe him and just said, "No, I'm not leaving this place, I can look at what you are making though, armour?"
Arden widen his eyes hearing her and said, "Yeah, that's exactly that, but not the knight armour, I want to make the one I have from another place"
She chuckled before saying, "Go ahead, I won't be angry at you"
