Rex is currently inside the throne room with a lunar light projection of himself in front of him, it's clear that he was creating an illusion of himself using the Lunar Dust Illusion spell. But it's still not finished yet.

Despite taking his form, the illusion still looks like a figure made of lunar light.

If Rex was just trying to make a normal illusion for himself then he could do it with a snap, but this one needs to be stronger than the limit of the Lunar Dust Illusion spell. Before turning human-like, he needs to make the energy inside of it at least reached the eighth rank.

Now the illusion only has energy amounting to the early seventh rank.
