According to what Adishri told me, I quickly understood what she meant by saying that her background could be both favourable and a disadvantage to us if we were to ever propose a marriage.

Her being the princess of a kingdom currently more powerful than us was a disadvantage. Her coming from a family that was both financially and physically stable in succession could be either a boon or a bane depending on the circumstances.

Her being a third princess from a fourth queen was an advantage for us, since this could mean that the proposal of an only prince from a decent kingdom would be looked upon favourably by her father. Her being the only child could also prevent many unnecessary complications.

The more I thought of this prospect, the better it seemed.
