Dark void

"What am I doing here? How did I get here?" Iris stood in a dark and bottomless void, wondering what she was doing there. She didn't have the slightest recollection of how she got there. The whole place was shrouded in silence, and as she spoke, her voice echoed throughout the void. "This doesn't make sense. Where am I? How am I even here? This doesn't make sense" She asked herself so many questions, yet Iris had no answers. 

Suddenly, she felt that the void far ahead of her was a tad bit brighter than where she stood, and she could find an exit point if she made it further toward the place. However, as soon as she attempted to move, a strange force pulled her down, making her rooted to her spot. The more she struggled to move, the lower she got sucked into the darkness below.
