The light blue panel opened before him.
"System, why my stats have changed drastically?"
[Host triggered the Thunder Healing scroll which gave him massive boost in all the stats.]
"You mean just by activating the scroll i benefitted that much?"
Dravid was in awe of this scroll.
[Host should know that legendary scroll can only be used by ArchMages, It's because of the system's presence host can use it without any issue.]
Dravid's heart was in turmoil after listening to the explanation of the system.
An ArchMage could flatten the whole planet if he wants to, and the magic scroll they use is absolutely rare.
"System, how can i increase my mage rank to novice level two?"
Dravid didn't have much idea about it.
[When all the basic stats such as S.P. or Stamina reaches five and pureness of the plant element becomes twenty percent pure.]
System gave him pretty simple explanation.
"So how can i increase my basic stats and pureness?"
[All the basic stats can be increased as long as host practices them daily.]
[But you would need different kind of physical technique.]
"Well, i don't have money for buying it,"
[If the host can complete the mission, he can open system's shop and coin exchange.]
Although Dravid didn't have any idea, but he begin making some plans about this first mission given by system.
"Should we head towards the destination given in quest board?"
Dravid turned around after some time, and waited for Shina's reply.
"Hmm,"
Shina nodded.
"This quest can be quite arduous, remember to be vigilant!"
Dravid warned her.
They both exited the Guild's first floor where only novice level mages could enter.
Dravid saw the bustling of the city again as warm light of sun provided them rare sense of comfort in the cold weather.
"I am proficient at using healing spell due to my race, so if you run out of mana, i can regenerate for you,"
Shina started talking again as they came out of the guild.
"Okay, we need to make a plan after meeting the team,"
Dravid pondered about the quest.
"Yes, let's find a taxi first,"
Shina waved her hand and a little token came out of it.
Beep!
A luxurious looking taxi appeared in their sight after some seconds.
"Destination?"
The driver asked.
"The Jungle,"
Shina put back the token and nodded towards Dravid.
The taxi arrived at the destination in ten minutes.
Outside of the city, a mysterious magic forest stood before them.
The taxi was long gone, all that was left eerie sound of leaves and whistling woods.
Dravid, a young man, who was always scared of the ghost in his previous life, was biting his nails.
"Hey Shina, is this really the right place?"
Dravid looked around everywhere then nervously asked Shina.
Shina saw him biting his nails so she extended her hand.
"Here!"
Dravid composed himself and put his palm on her hand.
Shina smiled.
"This forest has many names such as -- Magic Forest, The Jungle or Monster forest,"
"As long as we follow one rule, we will have more chances of survival,"
Shina explained this to Dravid.
"What rule?I hope there is no ghost,"
Dravid closed the distance between himself and Shina.
Shina chanted a spell and ethereal green light surged around them.
Dravid felt his fear going away and his plant magic particles made him resonate with Shina's heart which lied into the nature.
[Ding!Druid's blessing rank one spell has been used on the host.]
"No matter what happens, never get separated from your companions,"
After calming down Dravid, Shina pointed out the rule.
"Okay, let's enter this forest then,"
Dravid gripped her hand tightly as purple thunder surged in his body.
It was there to track and prevent sudden attacks around them.
Even though thunder was quite destructive, it didn't harm Shina.
"As you say, Sir!"
Shina chuckled and also used her plant energy to keep regenerating the mana for him.
The forest was silent, a rabbit was running towards its group.
Crunch!
A big snake with size of Anaconda crushed it with its sharp teeth and swallowed it in less than a second.
"Holy Mother Teresa!"
Dravid witnessed the scene and cried in fear.
"The nature takes it's course, if you are not strong, you will not survive,"
Shina informed him sweetly.
"Whatever, let's find our team first,"
Dravid increased his pace.
The thunder sizzled around him.
"Something is approaching!"
Dravid positioned himself in right position and prepared for the thunder healing technique.
Shuck!
The bushes around them made some sounds.
"There are beasts nearby us,"
Shina used her Druid mana restoration technique on Dravid with more plant energy.
Howl!
A terrifying howling of a wolf was heard.
Dravid blinked his eyes three times.
[A Lycan wolf is approaching.]
System's cold voice increased his vigilance even more.
Shuck!
A white figure appeared before them in an instant.
Before Dravid could see it clearly, It disappeared.
Dravid's tense body relaxed for a moment.
"Careful!"
Shina pushed him with all her force.
Due to her immense strength, Dravid was thrown ten meters away.
Shuck!
The white figure dashed through the place where they were standing.
Howl!
Dravid's heart trembled.
If they still stood there, their heads would have been munched by the Lycan wolf.
"Quick! Use your attacking method!"
Shina chanted a spell as her face paled.
Crackle!
Dravid's mana increased at least five times from her spell.
In fear, Dravid used all his mana to create ten thunderbolts.
Boom!Boom!
A black cloud appeared out of nowhere, and rained thunderbolts on the wolf.
Howl!
The Lycan wolf screamed in the pain as destructive thunder struck it.
It struggled furiously as blood came out of its body profusely.
Boom!
But at last, the last thunder exploded its head.
It's headless body whimpered and fell on the ground.
"Welcome to the jungle, new comrades!"
