"Welcome home. How was today?" Evelyn questioned Beth right as she walked through the door. 

She looked forward to hearing about Beth getting closer and closer to her dream of being a model.

Beth wasn't in the mood to speak about it. "It was like any other day."

Evelyn looked at the bags Beth walked in with. They were all from expensive stores. Unless Beth got a big paycheck the only way she could have gotten the money for this was from her uncle or some kind of boyfriend. 

"You did a lot of shopping today. You'll need to look the part so there's nothing wrong with a little shopping. I just hope you didn't spend too much," said Evelyn.

It was always upsetting to see Beth go around spending as much money as she wanted while Evelyn had to ask. It was long overdue that Beth found a job to take care of herself and fund her expensive life.
