Startled by Taf's sudden outburst May plunged beneath the violent waves, due to a momentarily lapsed in concentration.
"Really Taf?"
May once more regained her composure as she drifted like a boat on the high seas. Taf could only wryly smile casually putting his hands behind his head.
"You scoff, but that was a significant element of the training. One must never become easily rattled.
You're in the midst of a storm, yet a sudden disturbance has startled you. Let this be a lesson for the future."
He responded as though it was intentionally done as a means to further May's training.
Ha!?
A sound escaped from her lips that was a laugh but not a 'laugh', indicating she knew what he spouted was all lies.
She then uttered with satire in her voice, "Do you ever listen to yourself, sir?"
"Sometimes far too much." Taf awkwardly coughed as he curiously observed May who had once more regain the lotus stance.
The first chapter for the week and now I am one away from the 200th :). So this tournament arch begins, it will be interesting writing it. I'll take it as a bit of a challenge by trying to make it fun and unique. Anyway I hope you enjoyed it.
