Eleanor and Michael entered the church together, heading straight to the front pew on the left, and sat down. Eleanor took in what she could of the church while maintaining an appearance of composure and dignity. The church was relatively small compared to the one that had been on the Valen's estate, yet it was obviously well maintained. The interior of the church was made of mostly wood, with the altar being the only thing made of marble; though the wood itself was polished to the extent that it shined. There were ten rows of pews that total would fit about one hundred and fifty people, if they were all packed in together. The altar was made of a white marble that had red and purple veins running through it.
'Red and purple, that's an interesting combination. From what I've heard most altars only have a red vein running through them, though a second color isn't unheard of. I have the feeling the purple vein was intentional in its placement though.'
