 She said as she trembled and tears flowed out making the man speechless.

"Who are you talking about?" he asked. "Don't tell me that you stole the money."

"What?" No! I didn't steal anything! That money was mine to begin with. It's just that I was afraid that after running away then I used the cards, they might find me so soon so I opted to withdraw the money and keep it in a box so that I can use it," she said causing the man to stare at her as he couldn't believe her.

He picked the box that he had left aside and opened it as he was now curious how much was in it.

He was stunned when he saw the money. The estimation was at least fifteen million.

He averted his gaze and looked at the woman.

"You! Aren't you afraid that I will take this money and run away with it and leave you here to suffer?" he asked as he thought that she was brainless.
