章節 16: The First day

I was running from a faceless man, everywhere I ran he was ways behind me i have no option but to fight him, when i turned my back to face him i saw my own face and my own body he is no one but me, it creeped the shit out of me.. i was engulfed by blackness and came back to senses.
It was 5:10 am and i was in Jinx's apartment sleeping on two bedsheets, damn i need to buy a soft mattress my back of stiff and started to pain all over, my shoulders got cramped, legs gave excruciating pain.
I guess it was all because of the heavy physical work i did yesterday and haven't even got sufficient sleep.
Oh darn it, i just remembered yesterday's night i left Joyce alone on the terrace and left like a coward, i got up quickly taking all of the agony my body gave and rushed towards Joyce's room but it was locked from inside.
She was there with jinx it somewhat made me annoyed for no reason. I had a chance that night that i didn't took that's all I get now.
Mr. Wiran told me to reach greenpale at 6:00 sharp everyday so i took a cold bath as it's supposed to make your mind think more calmly and increase the pain resistance.
Wait i need a toothbrush damn, my mouth wasn't clean more than a day, i rushed to the 24 hour Mart, the cold streets surrounded by darkness, streetlights and stars up there hits so different.
I brought one and decided to run to the apartment, so that my body generates heat to beat the chilled autumn.
Thank God i didn't kissed her with my dirty mouth, i cleaned each corner with utmost care for 30 minutes, and also brushed the lips to clean off the dead skin and give me the look of Greek gods.
When i came out of bathroom i saw the door open, and as i was about to enter-
A big heavy hand landed on my shoulder,
"Looks like you ready pretty early".
I turned my head back and it was the giant jinx,
"Yeah, i was about to look for you."
*A pathetic lie*
So I have no car, it seems that i have to travel with these guys.
"Wait for We are getting ready, we'll go together". jinx said,
Now i have to depend on them, geez i should've found a shelter closer to greenpale, it was 7kms and i don't have the health to travel that long.
"Yeah, thanks for dropping me along, you get I'll make us tea by then".
"We don't have tea, we have coffee you can prepare by the time".
"Ok cool"
I don't like coffee, tea is my elixer...
"You don't always get what you want, it's a part of life" i say to myself.
While making coffee I just thought that everything is going so smoothly and balanced till now, is this the silence before a storm? It is too good to be true, life is definitely planning something and waiting for me to get vulnerable and attack of the blue, i must stay disciplined and Never let my guard down.
I have experienced so much in life its actually great that i can sense danger sometimes.
Joyce's room opened and she looked steamy hot in the white woollen sweater and wide leg pants.
"Good morning" i said, twitching my eyes and giving a weird smile
She replied the same but with a cute smile,
Meanwhile i was thinking that this is so wrong she's not near my age group to flirt with her like that,
She was staring at me for few moments maybe even my simple blue tshirt wasn't bad at all and went to her room.
I followed her to and entered her room,
"Hey"
She turned back, i went close to her, so close that i could feel smell her shampoo and feel her hitting my chest.
I took my hand out and slided the strand of her hair to the back of her ear,
"I'm sorry i left you alone last night, i was drunk and i should've take you with me, did i hurt you."
My own voice cringed me.
"I was drunk too, it's ok, you are looking bold and nice today."
Emotions just burst at the back of the head, this moment is mine i said. Someone other than aunt lisa complimented my looks.
Now's the chance, should i kiss her, yes no, will she accept it, go for it don't go don't do don't ahh... What's happening with me, i was never so confused with my decisions.
When i looked at her, she already closed her eyes more than half.
At that moment a loud voice came from the bathroom.
"Hey!! Joyce Reggie !! The kettle is beeping where the hell are you,."
"Oops i gave a jerk first shattering the moment with my own hands...
As if i was about to reach finish line and someone shot my head with a sniper.
I turned off the plug and i saw her turn off the door.
I ruined her again, my heart was thumping hard, i went to the bathroom and jerked off cause it always calmed me. I never pull it for satisfaction, i do it just to relieve the stress.
I was the one who moved back when Jinx's voice came, she didn't even flinched, it's all my fault maybe i don't deserve her, I'm the real coward.
I drank the coffee and also served them both in their cups.
Jinx said "is everything all right?"
To Joyce
I was about to get a heart attack,
I actually felt the pain in my chest.
How on the damn earth does he knew something was wrong.
Joyce behaved the same and looked the same, that point i remembered he knew her from ages ago.
"Yeah are you feeling good?" I said to Joyce
Just to make myself less suspicious.
"I'm alright" she said without even looking at me.
She was mad at me but for what? I got close to her or for ruining the moment.
Was she feeling danger around me cause she was 17, i must control my actions i thought.
"Less go!! Its our first day and I'm excited !!"
" Hell yeah! " Said jinx grabbing both my shoulders and pressing them hard.
Maybe he wasn't that bad as i thought our synergy can actually build pretty strong.
We three sat in Subaru forester and went greenpale with lightning speed.
"This is car is so much comfortable" i said to jinx
His muscles flexed while driving and what a built his body had, and that messy hair on top of his eyes, he always reminded me of 'chad' from the bleach anime.
"Yeah my baby is super comfortable". He said it while caressing his steering.
Joyce was lost in her phone in the backseat, is she texting? But to whom?
Why was i concerned
We reached greenpale first and opened the big davis, one by one came each person, and started chatting heavily on automobiles and even made jokes on it which I didn't understood at all what kind of humour is this? That's Only related with cars.
Then came another major charector, our operational head Mayo wiran, who just got her position due to nepotism.
Is she actually worth to handle a job like that? Seriously?
But she looked gorgeous, her needle like black hairs completely straight from top to bottom, with a front layer hairstyle.
She also kept staring at few but then jinx caught her attention and stole her eyes from me forever.
When she left telling us about the job we need to complete today, i remembered my old friend i made in Poodlepops that gave me delusinal vibes, i went to see him.
Luckily i met Mayo, then her dad Mr.wiran and all to make sense the old man's name was Pedro who shifted to gastovik recently from Italy. Mr.wiran was a customer of him as. He owned a garage.
Mr. Wiran finally agreed to speak infront of me about what was bothering him.
He told me and mr.pedro everything from the start to end
What i can grasp is he had a police rival which holded the control of the uppermost division.
And he also had a friend Jeffery in the police force who's his alias.
The police is patroling the area and even caught 3 valuable Bugs in a day. Bugs is a type of codename made for the racecar drivers. In which one of them belonged to the 5th crew.
Again what i deduced, is 5th crew was one of the most badass mobs of bugs, the one which ruled the streets of gastovik
So now i needed to act and solve this thing or atleast give some idea to mr.wiran, cause it will not let me sleep at nights.
