章節 106: Chapter 106: GABRIEL

As we headed back inside, I replayed this latest conversation in my head and got to wondering just why it is that Colton Lyon thinks I don’t have the basic common sense needed to know how to treat my own woman.

I didn’t bother arguing with him because that would be a lost cause, and besides, he does have some valid points, and though I’ve come to the conclusion that he might be feeling me out for his own purposes, Law was right earlier when he said that the guy gives solid advice even if it’s in his own roundabout way.

The more we talk about this personal stuff, the more I come to see that we’re a lot alike. I’m still trying to figure out if that’s a good thing or not. I for sure know that I’m not as complex as he is, though. The man seems to have as many layers as an oversized Vidalia onion. It’ll take me years to get through even the first one, I think.
