Bending down he takes Violet's hand places a kiss on it. He then does the same thing for Rosa.

"The two of you are the most lovely people I've ever seen." Jeremy said. He was still so amazed the girl he was prejudice against when they first met was capable of looking like this. It was weird he even cared.
