As Barristan stands behind his queen as he watched her grace is looking into the distance, even though queen Daenerys has always been alone but now that her family was here she was a lot more happier
But as the king went away that same loneliness that followed his queen like her shadow was back again, even though they always seemed angry at each other but Barristan has seen enough namedays to know what was happening, both the king and queen are dragons and only fire can stand between two dragons
Now that the king was gone the queen seemed to have lost something, even though everything is going great in yunkai and the preparation to attack meereen are going steady the queen is not impressed
Princess Rhaenys is still here but the queen and her niece are not that close yet even though they are family, but this is normal they haven't seen each other in years not everyone can't become close so quickly like Daenerys and Aegon did
And Princess Rhaenys spends more time with her blue dragon than with people , as Barristan was thinking about the whereabouts of the royal family the prince of Dorne Quentyn Martell once again came to talk with the queen
Quentyn Martell came to yunkai with two dornish men two days ago and presented the queen with a secret wedding pact signed between her brother and dorne and now that Viserys is dead he offered his hand for to the queen for marriage
Barristan can see what the martells want, even though the marriage was against dorne's support for house Targaryen to take back the seven kingdoms but even though now the seven kingdoms has a Targaryen king they still secretly sent this frog to pursue a dragon
The frog prince doesn't even know that the king and princess came here, Barristan gets that Doran Martell wants to marry into the royal family but sending his son here is fool's gambit
The boy is in no way a worthy consort for the queen and most of time he seems afraid of the queen the girl he is trying to wed, barristan doesn't know why her grace is even tolerating this fool here
Barristan watch as the young man tried to talk to the queen and desperately tried get her attention but the queen looked as uninterested as ever but the frog still went on about his house and his Targaryen ancestory, even Barristan was getting annoyed at this feeble attempts
But then Barristan heard people coming for behind, as he turned he saw the King and Ser Arthur walking towards them, as watched his grace walk he can't help but feel the gap between a frog and a dragon, there no point to even compare them
As they others realised that the king was here they all had different reactions, the queen still looked indifferent but the young prince looked like he has seen a ghost, Barristan was even worried that the young man might dropped to the floor right there but somehow the he kept himself standing
"Prince Quentyn I missed you when your father came to pledge allegiance to me but it seems the young prince was seeing the world and didn't have time to greet his king" the king said with smile as he went right in front of the young prince
"Your grace I apologize but I had a important task given to me by my lord father so I couldn't come, I truly didn't wish to offend you your grace" even though the lad tried to keep a straight face but coming face to face with the king he looked like he was about to piss himself right there
"Ah I know of this important task, you came here to ask my dear aunt's hand in marriage isn't that right, but I don't think you can handle the dragon queen tell me are you still a maid or has someone took your flower prince Quentyn so how can I allow you to court my beloved aunt" even though the king was joking Quentyn turned red with blush like a young maid facing a knight
The king just went towards the queen leaving the young prince just stuck in embarrassment
"Aunt it is good to see you after a so long, you seem to have even grown more beautiful in the time I was away, even young princes from the other side of the world are coming here to court you"
"Nephew you too might have beautiful maids chase after you if just stay still and don't go around causing trouble,I still hear tales about how the dragons terrorised the beautiful and peaceful city if Braavos, tell me nephew as a king do you actually do something or just go around causing trouble for others"
"I didn't terrorised Braavos I just moved their gaint sword a bit, and peacefully convince the Ironbank that financing the slave trade is wrong and they should not do it, they were very reasonable and from now on they won't be helping any slave masters, do you still think I was wrong"
The queen didn't answer and just looked away
"I already told you I will support you so you just can keep fighting here I will take care of other things as they come, you already have two cities now just one more before slaver's bay is gone from this world"
"I don't care why, next time before you do a stunt like this, I expect you to talk to me first your grace, if you don't I won't care if you are my king or nephew I will make you pay" the queen suddenly spoke in a such serious tone that Barristan felt his back sweat
But the king just smiles at the threat "sometimes you are so much like your mother it like grandmother is standing right in front of me, aye I will tell before I do something like that"
