章節 14: The beginning of a war
"What is my father going to do?" Diana asked, worried.
"He is the one who created the rings." Peter explained "It is to absorb power."
"Henry cannot know about it." Chad said, worried "We must hide this information."
"There is no need anymore." Lexie explained "You should have thought about that before, now Edwin will make sure you all are protected. "
"How?" Diana asked, confused.
"Seek what is rightfully his."
"I understand, mother. Diana will be in the light castle for now."
"Are you sure about what you are doing?" Chad asked, worried.
"Yes. It will be a long year." Lexie answered upset "If we followed his rules, it was going to be so much better "
Diana was not getting what was going on, not until her mother hugged her with strength, before giving a kiss on the cheek, at the same time Chad pulled her towards the portal, Peter didn't follow them.
"HEY! WHAT IS GOING ON?" Diana shouted, trying to take out the hands of Chad, but then something was placed on her finger and she fell asleep.
"Take care of her!" Peter ordered Chad before getting out of the bedroom.
"Don't worry! I will."
Some time later, Diana woke up in the academy bedroom she was on the other day. Chad was writing something, while sitting in front of the desk.
As soon that she moved, he looked back, worried, then she heard loud sounds and was about to go near the window, but Chad forbidden her.
"Just hope that your father is well." he warned her "This was about to happen one day. Don't blame yourself."
"What is happening?" Diana interrogate him, taking his hands of her wrists.
"You will survive if you don't take the ring, and wear this clothes, they are from here.
"And if I refuse?" she asked with her arms crossed "I want answers.
"I know but you must be strong, everything will fix on its on."
"As if it os true. Everyone knows we should fight for what we want."
"You are not ready for this fight. I assure you."
"At least tell me what my father did!" Diana begged, almost crying "Why mom and Peter didn't come with me?"
"I am in no place to tell you. Ask them once this is over."
All of a sudden, someone knocked at the door and Diana hide behind the wardrobe.
"Don't worry, is Eric." Chad explained as he opened the door.
Once inside, Eric closes the door abruptly and grabs the collars of his brother's sweater. "Do you know what you did? Because of that passion of yours, a war started. Everyone wants to kill her because of her power. What did you think?"
"You ahould worry about your wife. You are in no place to worry about mine."
"Where is she? we must take her to Iroki, she will be safe there."
"Her mother told me to keep her here." Chad explained "She is there if you want to talk.
As she was discovered, Diana came out from behind the wardrobe and said hi with her hand, scared.
"Yeah. It is totally safe..." Eric started but was interroped by Plonome.
"She will be in the hidden village. Its her mkther request."
"You talked with my mom?" The girl questioned, anxious, "How is she?
"For now she is fine... We have one minute to get out if here. I am sure Henry is almost here.
