THE SCREAM that Ozed let out was anything cut of a scream. It felt like a desperate cry for help of some sort. Like a wounded beast pleading for mercy before it went feral. 

Merewin wrapped his arms securely around Lovechild's body, shielding her with his massive size, while Lovechild shivered and quaked from his continuous cries. She slowly began sobbing as well.

Soon they heard responsive cries from out the window. Merewin could only conclude that it was the reactionary cry from the battalion to the master's pain. 

Even Merewin's eyes felt heavy with tears, as though he could feel the pain Ozed was going through.
