We didn't hear or see anything . After a few moments we saw hundreds of cat like ears staring at us. Our instincts screamed danger and we were quick to act.

We quickly ran out . The nightcrawlers saw us and quickly came after us but we fluidly dodged them . 

They were about to chase but then suddenly like a bullet , one of the Blue Caols dived in the air and pierced the nightcrawlers chest leaving a large chest cavity . That action happened in an instant . The bird then calmly flew and started eating the nightcrawlers flesh and so did other multiple birds. 

The other nightcrawlers did not stick long enough after that .The remaining ones quickly ran away in one direction as a group and Blue Caols followed them .

We thought we were safe but we were very wrong . Some of the Blue Caols followed us. Luckily we had knowledge on their way of attack . They would fly high then dive at the person killing them with their velocity.
