Shikera's eyes widened when she heard her name being uttered in such a familiar manner by the mother of her Ceo. She shared surprised glances with Cyprian before stepping forward to greet the older woman.

"Good day, Mrs Preston." She bowed slightly as she talked.

The older woman laughed at Shikera's nervous greeting, saying, "Do I look that much like a Mrs?"

At the strange question, Shikera could only nod. What was she expected to do? Lady Preston and her friends' laughter rented the air again, making Shikera wonder if she should take the job of a comedian now.

"You are blunt, aren't you? Let's do this then, call me Lady Preston, can you?"

"Of course, Mrs—Lady Preston. I'll make sure to get used to it before you leave here today."
