章節 63: Getting to know each other (1)

"Outside of getting slapped, how has your experience here been? Do you find our bedroom to your liking?" 

"Was there really a need to bring up the slap?" Alessandra sighed. 

From the moment they had come back inside after all the servants had greeted her, things were going well between Edgar and Alessandra until they sat down at the dining table and this was the first thing he had to say.

"I don't see anything wrong with stating the obvious negative experience you had. It has been dealt with and now I want to hear about everything else. Did you sleep comfortably last night or were you thinking of me?" Edgar questioned.

He sat at one end of a small dining table with one leg thrown over the other and his chin resting in the palm of his hand as his arm kept him propped up.
