The Duke asked with a raised brow, "Have you chosen a ring and place you are going to propose to your lovely maiden?"

Andre nodded. His hand reached inside his shirt, and he retrieved a gold chain with a ring hanging off of it. He explained, while handing the ring over for the Duke to examine: "When I was sent to Inreus, I was told by Friar Tillis this was around my neck. The day I left Inreus for my training to become a paladin, he gave it back to me."

"If you look closely, you will see it is a woman's band with detailed filigree. I am under the belief that this was probably my mothers."
