章節 37: Comfortable
"Thank you," she said and he smiled as she slept away and he closed his eyes.
"Maybe... just maybe things might actually work out between us," Amias said to himself as he slept away.
While the two were sleeping Amias's body started glowing along with the mark on the girl's chest making their bond stronger but the side effect of Amias's mark was taking quite a toll on Minda for she had not accepted him as yet and it was causing her to fall weak.
As the girl was sleeping her body started to feel like it was going to freeze so the girl woke up not realizing that Amias was there and took her nightdress off then wrapped herself in the blanket and went back to sleep while hugging him.
After a long night the next morning when Amias opened his eyes he saw the girl was half-naked.
"The hell, am I still sleepy?" he asked himself then wiped his eyes and realized that he was fully away.
"Oh no," he said as his eyes widened and he stared at the girl's body.
"You are the most shameless princess on the face of the earth," he said as he covered her with the blanket which had come off due to her moving around in her sleep.
"I am not your bed woman," he said as he placed his hand on her and felt how cold she was still and he swallowed deeply.
"You're starting to freak me out, Minda wake up," he said as he tapped on her face and she hugged him tighter then his eyes widened and he sighed.
"Ugh.... bloody hell wake up" he shouted and she opened her eyes.
"Why are you shouting?" she asked as she stared at him but her vision was blurry so she yawned and closed her eyes again then he sighed.
"Minda you need to get up," he said then she wiped her eyes and opened them.
"I can see clearly now, leave me be, I am tired" she replied.
"I have never been worried about someone this much before, just which she accepts me, maybe I imprinted too soon," Amias said to himself as he looked at her.
"Minda I will call your father in here," he said and she looked at him then raised her right brow.
"I think a screw in that brain of yours is loose" she replied.
"Nice bra," he said.
'Thanks" she replied then he smiled and her eyes widened as she raised up the blanket and saw herself without a dress.
"Where... where is my nightgown?" she asked as she cloaked up under the blanket and he leaned in towards her.
"You have nice boobs too," he said and her face got pink.
"Pervert," she said with a pout and he laughed then got out of the bed and she looked at him.
"I didn't touch you," he said.
"I know" she replied and he smiled.
"Get yourself something warm to drink Minda you need it," he said then walked out of the room and left after grabbing his things.
"He didn't.... what am I even thinking?" she asked herself as she stood up and grabbed her nightgown which was on the floor.
'He is kind of sweet, I was comfortable with him" she said to herself as she went to take a bath even though she was feeling very cold.
While she was taking a bath Amias went to his room to prepare for work and there he saw Mikey sitting on his bed.
"What are you doing here?" Amias asked.
"I came last night too but you were not here" he responded.
"Where were you?" Mikey asked and Amias sighed.
"I slept in the princess's room" he responded.
'Ah... she accepted you?" Mikey asked.
"Nope I was only there because my mark is having side effects on her, it's because she doesn't know" he responded.
"Just tell her already man," Mikey said.
"I can but I don't know if I should" he replied.
"She doesn't hate you if she did she wouldn't have shown that she cares about what happens to Amias," he said and the boy sighed.
"Go, Mikey, before someone sees you" he replied.
"Okay but I wanted you to know that a werewolf was attacked last night by a guy, moved so fast that the wolf couldn't see or catch up with him," he said then Amias's eyes widened.
"Is the wolf okay?" Amias asked.
"They need their alpha in a time like this Amias that's why I wanted you to tell the princess the truth" he responded then left and Amias folded his cuff in anger and went to take a bath.
After the princess finished taking her bath she got dressed and went for breakfast.
"Good morning everyone," she said.
"Morning princess" Isacc replied as she sat near him and saw that Amias was not there as yet.
"Slept well sweetheart?" her mother asked and she smiled.
"Yeah, mom can you please make me a hot cup of tea?" she asked and the mother nodded in agreement then made the girl a cup of hot tea.
"Here," the queen said as she passed the cup to the girl and she collected it.
'Thank you mom" she said and at the very same time, Amias walked in.
"Good morning your highnesses," he said then sat down and the princess smiled.
"You okay?" he asked.
"I am fine, why are you asking that so often?" she asked.
"Let it be" he responded as he grabbed his food to eat and she sighed as she looked at him.
"He looks worried," she said to herself as she took a sip of her tea.
"I wonder who attacked the wolf," Amias said to himself as he dropped his fork and Minda grabbed it then he looked at her and she smiled.
"Here," she said.
"Thanks" he replied as he collected the fork.
'Why are you looking at me like that?" he whispered.
"What are you so worried about?" she asked then he sighed.
