"My daughter is the sweetest that I know. She's also willful. I remember the time she told me she wanted to become a superstar." Luca's father kept his eyes on his daughter's portrait while smiling subtly, sharing a drink with Xander in the corner of the funeral reception. 

"Back then, her mother was worried because we heard about many horrible things behind the entertainment industry. But the more we tried to stop her, the more she resisted. So in the end, we just support her through and through," he continued in a soft voice. "Even so, we had always believed she would make it."

"She's that kind of person. If she set her mind to something, she would definitely do it and excel in it. I'm so proud of her." His eyes softened as he laughed weakly. "From her first big break and then her following projects, she made us very proud of her. We're not rich, Mister Kane. We just managed to survive in comfort, but she made us experience the things we wouldn't even imagine."
