Arlan watched as Oriana lay curled up in bed under the sheets. The room was filled with her scent, indicating how aroused she had been when he left. The dragon inside him stirred, excited by her scent, but Arlan warned the beast within. 'Pounce on her, and you would never be able to touch her again. She would throw both of us out of this room.'

Only then did the beast inside him calm down. Arlan walked towards the bed, removed his shoes, and slid under the blanket, wrapping her curled form in his arms, her back pressing against his chest.
