90% The death of the Red God. / Chapter 9: Roska, where are you?

章節 9: Roska, where are you?

Oshar, follow...

Oshar...

Breath...

Follow..

Oshar awoke in a sea of blood. Her wounds were now visable to her she was dazed but still conscious she thought she had died and realizes she still might but was grateful for her training and for the fact she could overcome the beast. The voice in her head was ringing she felt like it was somehow familiar, still she was weary to listen to anything in this world considering her current circumstances. Suddenly she spotted a checkered fox with two tails staring at her.

Follow...

Oshar...

Follow...

Heal...

"You're very pretty" Oshar said as she stumbled forward through the sea of blood. She could barely move through it. It was too thick for her to swim through but there wasn't so much that is would devour her whole body. "Roska!" Oshar screamed continuing her trudge forward. Her wounds were aching "No, please not now, please, Roska..." tears began to stream down Oshars face as she stumbled into the blood.

My love, the light is near, are you so weak as to allow yourself to die so soon? Would you not follow the blood? Do not fight with it. Allow yourself to become entangled in it's brilliance and life giving. Allow it into you heart, or die, drowning in your pride.

Nothing, no response, Oshar had not yet surfaced from the sea of blood. A great deal of time had passed. Oshar had still not surfaced. More and more blood had poured from the clouds above and the sea was growing ever larger thunder and lighting was roaring and tearing through the sky, Oshar had still not surfaced.

Pathetic, what great lord would find solace in your defenses if all you had to show was such a worthless outing? This outcome is more than anything, more than regrettable. The darkness has swallowed you. Your pride and refusal to accept the love of that woman has killed you. My child, you will never rest peacefully; suffer in your sin. For the blood you've spilled and those you did not spare you will suffer a thousand deaths. Shameful.

The sea finally stood still. The thunder stopped. The lighting stuck the sea only once more. The storm was over. Oshar had still not surfaced. The sea seemed endless, but just then as all seemed hopeless the sea began to drain. Rapidly the blood was twisting and twirling draining straight down. "I am not dead. I am not dead. I will not die" Oshar screamed as the blood pooled into her wounds. "Roska! Roska, where are you?" Oshar screamed while walking forward this time with more force and presence.

I am glad. You are not weak. You are my child. I did not wish anything less but success to you. Thank you.

The fox walked toward Oshar and said it's name. Suddenly Oshar knew what she had to do. "Thank you" with love as her full intent Oshar said to the fox petting it softly before it disappeared. She admired it's blue and white fur and golden eyes. "Roska, I will be with you soon. Wait for me?" Oshar headed back towards the large tree. She saw how near death it was and thought it must have been nearly killed in the storm. She saw its pulsing veins and came to terms with the pain she was about to feel. "I will feed you. As I was nourished so shall you be as well". Oshar turned to the tree and planted her back to the largest vein she could reach. She lifted her sword "Thank you" she said just before piercing herself through her abdomen "Thank you" she said again as she lost consciousness.

The tree is thriving. You are thriving. The light you've accepted. Your saving grace. Farewell. Farewell. Great Oshar.
