章節 36: Betrayal

Astrid POV

I stir awake looking at my surroundings. Shit, I'm still in this hell hole, a body lays beside me and I turn to see it's my mother's beaten up body. I check her pulse to see If anything is there.

It's there but barely.... she is going to need help and soon. I look across the other cages to see Arista sleeping. I don't even know how she is sleeping at a time like this.

I look to see a very weak but awake Cohen. He sends me a weak smile... I can't help but feel bad. I slowly crawl to the front of the cage, placing my cracked hands on the cold metal bars.

"Hey... how are you feeling" I whisper. I watch as he pulls his body to face me I can tell he is in immense pain as he drags his body along the dirty floor.

"I'm fine... how are you feeling" I watch his lips. His face showing the immense pain he was in.

"I'm good...Cohen... what's the plan now... where do we go from here" I asked. I was afraid... what if we never made it out of here...
