Elpis POV
We got into the carriage and left Crescent Moon. Getting to Blood Moon will take us a day or two. Blood Moon is very close to Crescent Moon.
"You should rest. The journey will take a while." I told her. She just smiled. She didn't say anything. I knew she was tired. That wedding was a lot
She was quiet throughout the ride. The was kind of awkward. She tried to open the windows of the carriage. She looked amazed; like she was seeing the world for the first time.
"You look amazed," I told her.
"I apologized. Actually, I have never been outside Crescent Moon. The world looks so beautiful."
She looked so innocent, so pure. I wanted to protect her, in any way I could.
"And I promise you will see more."
After a while, she laid her head on the side and slept. She looked so beautiful; like when the moon comes out in the daytime and when the sun shines at night. She is incomparable. She looked peaceful when asleep; like she didn't carry the world's problems on her shoulders. Even though her eyes were the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, there was a lot of worry in them like she needed to take down the world or something. I wanted to take those worries away. I wanted to know how she would look with a pair of peaceful eyes, with no worry about the world. I am sure she will be more beautiful.
I didn't know how much time passed when I was looking at her but the carriage stopped and we were informed that we had arrived. I didn't want to wake her; I didn't even know how. She looked so beautiful and peaceful. I couldn't help but touch her hair. It was so soft and shiny. Some strands were on her face. when I reached to get it off, she opened her eyes. It was so awkward.
"There was hair on your face. I wanted to get it off." I said for damage control. She was looking at me in a very weird way. There was a weird silence after that. It was getting awkward.
"We are here!" I opened the door and got out of the carriage. I gave her my hand. She looked at the footman and then took my hand. For one second, I thought she would leave me hanging.
"Welcome to Blood Moon castle." I welcomed her.
There was a smile on her face as she looked at the Castle. She really liked it.
"It's beautiful," she said with an allure expression on her face.
We stepped into the castle and her expression was everything.
"No wonder you are so rich." She told me. I didn't know what to say.
I took her to our bedroom. All the maids kept on staring at her like she was a ghost but wouldn't dare say anything, they wouldn't dare.
"Are they scared of you?" she asked as we walked up the stairs.
"Shouldn't they be?"
She rolled her eyes. Great Elpis, just great!
"Welcome." I opened the door for her. She looked around. "Your chambers are in the inner room and there is a garden outside."
"Is this your room?"
"No, this is our room," I told her. Emphasizing the "our".
"Why are we sharing a room?"
"You are my Luna remember?" I reminded her.
"Oh." That was all she said. She was really quiet. It made me comfortable. Was she going to run away or something?
"So, I will leave you. If you need anything just let me know."
"I would like to take a bath." I said, "And some clean clothes. Is that possible?"
I was taken aback. "Of course, I will send in some maids," I told her with a smile and was about to take my leave when she called out.
"Thank you. For everything so far." She told me with a little smile on her face.
I didn't know what to say. No one has ever thanked me before. It seemed so foreign to my ears. I just smiled and left. It felt really nice.
I shut the door and I saw Beta Drake by the side.
He bowed, "Alpha, your brother wants to see you."
To all my readers,
Thank you all for reading my book. Without you, all this will not be possible. Can't wait to hear what you all think.
