章節 1: The Restaurant work
There was a girl named Pamela. She was an orphan and a helpless girl. She had the dream of having a restaurant coz she's a very skilled girl in cooking. She thought of working in a restaurant to make money since she wasn't educated.
She prepared in her white shirt and black trousers coz that was the restaurant workers' uniform. She was mesmerized by the magnificence of the hotel restaurant. She never entered it before. She was so pleased. Then she walked up to the manager and greeted him.
"Good morning sir. I am in need of a job. And I thought of coming here. I am a very skillful girl" She said, kneeling half way. The Manager stared for a while and looked at her from head to toe. Pamela was very uncomfortable with his behavior but she had no choice than to accept it because it was her first time there.
"Hi. Good morning. Well, we aren't in need of any worker at the moment, am sorry" He said. Pamela felt really bad and all her excitement about her new work place disappeared. She knelt down and begged the manager.
"sir, I have nowhere to go. I'm an orphan and I need work to be able to cater for myself" She pleaded. The manager who was touched by her plea brought her up and said : " ok, I will find somewhere to fix you in" Pamela was tickled pink on hearing this. She was so pleased that her dreams were soon gonna come true. The manager left. Then suddenly a dark fellow passed Pamela's front. Pamela was shocked to see this. The fellow kept parading the restaurant like he was looking for a prey. Nobody saw him. Only Pamela did. She was horrified as the manager tapped her from behind. "Won't you get to work?" He said as she quickly left the place to find something to do.
WHO WAS THAT STRANGE DARK FELLOW?
