Little Me stood next to me near the french doors of my childhood bedroom. We watched Young Scarlet chant a smell in the mirror. The lights flickered in the room. A chill fell over us. The mirrors in the room grew dark. A few seconds passed before they cleared to reveal another dimension. A younger version of Sabastian appeared in the mirror. Young Scarlet squealed with the delight of casting such a powerful spell. Connecting two dimensions was never an easy task. Yet, at the age of twelve, I could do it.

The spell took me a week to learn and three months to get it right. Many failed attempts and crying turned into success. I never stopped trying, knowing that the pretty magic boy was on the other side. I told myself he was as disappointed as I was. That it would be better if we had each other. So, every day, I worked hard. Until that night, I got it right.
