Wilson lead the hostages through the doors of the underground building to the exit. The back up he'd called for earlier were already present, and on standby as he had ordered. He tasked them with conveying these hostages back to town and making a broadcast to anyone who's relative, friend or family was missing.
Wilson raced back into the underground building and rushed towards where he'd left Charles. It wasn't like he didn't trust his brother to win, he just wanted to be sure he was safe. Charles might have won and at same time lost his mental stability. Wilson was rushing back to go and make sure that didn't happen.
He only met the body of the dead leader in the room the instant he rushed in. Charles had won as expected, but he was no longer here. Wilson could still sense his brother's energy, it wasn't far from this place. He immediately raced after the fleeing aura of his brother and had managed to catch up with him just before Charles could enter another door.
