They followed the two men walking steadily and slowly behind them. The police officer aided the second man in keeping himself up while they climbed the staircase.
The siblings had stopped at the foot of the staircase not planning on following the policeman and his seemingly drunk friend up to wherever they were going.
Wilson soon returned after putting his elder brother to bed. When his power had manifested as a child, his condition was much worse and he had become the elder brother instead taking care of his believed sick brother like he was the senior
The two siblings still stood where they stopped and he honestly didn't know what to say to them at the moment. Infact he had nothing to say. It was almost daybreak and they had a long night that he hadn't even dreamed that he would make out of it alive. What they all needed right now was a good night rest.
He gestured to them to follow him with his head before walking up the stairs once more. The two looked at each other before reluctantly following the man upstairs. They didn't have a choice after all. They couldn't go back home, at least not yet.
Justin trailed directly behind Wilson while Ashley walked behind him. He was still trying to wrap his head around what was still happening and how they were connected to all this. Sure he had seen those tattoos on his father before and it sure explained a lot of things but what he didn't understand was how they were able to do what they did. He was already sure that they were hypnotized into fantasizing earlier and he wanted to know how it worked. And did it also mean that his parents were also capable of these things? His lack of answers to these questions drove him crazy but he chose not to show it. Not after the night they had.
Wilson finally arrived at a door and opened it. It was probably the visitors room and maybe the only vacant one available.
"You two can stay here tonight" Wilson said just before holding himself from yawning out in front of the two siblings. He was exhausted and needed a shut eye. He nodded to them to go in and make themselves at home before walking off to his own room barely keeping his whole body standing.
Justin took the couch by the side of room leaving for his sister the only bed in the room. He laid still, his mind still trying to get things together but he just couldn't make sense of anything. He wanted answers and he was going to get them but right now, he needed to sleep.

Morning came faster than they had anticipated but what were they to expect time waited for no one and so did mother nature. Charles was first to wake already up and making breakfast for his brother and their guest. He had peered into the future involuntarily during his unstable time and he had seen the outcome of everything that was supposed to happen that day. It was going to be a fairly good day. Nothing had gone wrong with the day but that was far from what he saw.
The three humans alighted from the flight of stairs, finally settling to eat.
Ashley sat observing the man from yesterday instead of focusing on her meal. She hadn't realized because it was dark but he was strikingly handsome and miraculously, he was in his right senses today not acting strange at all.
Justin swallowed his food without chewing most of it. His body was aching for answers and the only way he could get it was going back to their house, their parents room. They had left the room unoccupied and rarely entered it since the death of the two which meant that everything was possibly still the way they were and exactly how their parents had left it.
Charles stared at him already aware of his thoughts and aware of what was going to happen.
Justin rose from his seat immediately the last morsel entered his mouth and excused himself.
He was going to escape from the house, find his way back home and do whatever it is he was meant to do. Then he'd hurry back to his sister without wasting time.
Charles also rose from his seat almost immediately before pulling Wilson from his seat and out of the dining table. He had already seen the future and he knew nothing bad would really happen but as he always believed, the future wasn't set in stone. He had pulled Wilson aside to tell him to go after the over curious man who hadn't fully understood the world he had just ventured in. Having a target on one's back was a serious issue but it seemed this man wasn't aware of this situation.
Wilson rolled his eyes at his brothers request he had always noticed how eager the man was in knowing things and how paranoid he could be. He promised to save them but babysitting wasn't a part of the job. Returning to the dining table, he picked up the last piece of his omelette and threw it into his mouth before walking away.
Ashley sat down at the table staring around without a word. They were now alone. She and the psycho from last night and there was no telling when he would snap. She felt his presence behind her and suddenly, his face was just close to her ear. She dared herself not to turn around out of both fear and embarrassment.
She had almost fainted when he heard his whisper in her ear
"Boo"
She didn't want to overthink but surely, he had lost his senses once again.

Justin arrived at his place, the only visible damage still being that of the broken door. He took a quick survey around making sure he wasn't being followed by one of the Satan Guild members, he had already experienced enough drama for one day. Having concluded his survey, he walked into the house tiptoeing as if to say he didn't want to wake a sleeping inhabitant.
He made it to his parents room which was just as they had left it. The claw markings of the beast from earlier were visible on the door opposite the room which was apparently where they had hidden before jumping off through the window.
He removed his attention from the already done damage and hurried to find a solution to the brain damage he was going to have if he didn't find answers to his unending questions soon.
He tore through the drawers carefully going through everything in it. The wardrobes, cabinets and every possible thing he laid eyes on but still yet nothing. He crouched low and and took a peek under the bed but everything was too dark to see so he pulled his phone out of his pocket and turned it's flashlight on.
Under the bed was a tiny metal box which laid hidden. He reached in under the bed and pulled out the box hoping to find any reasonable information about his parents and surely he did.
In the box were more pictures of the tattoos that he had seen on his father buried inside a book which he could easily tell was his father's diary. Apparently, they were new members and hadn't been bathed in the blood yet, he read from the diary and he had sworn in his two children to be under this cult's protection. Everything wasn't clear yet but it was starting to make a little more sense. He turned the pages of the diary hoping to find more information but unfortunately, he couldn't. From the ones he had read, the date of his parents death was the exact same date that his father had written down to be their baptism into the Advocate and nothing else was after that page.
He slammed the metal box shut in fury outraged by the little information he had gotten. He wanted to know more, he needed more answers. His thirst for knowledge had consumed him and he was now out of control.
Wilson walked into the room, stopping the spiraling Justin just in time before he hurt himself.
"Get away from me!" He retaliated "you guys were supposed to protect them. You bastards left them to die!" He blamed pushing Wilson aside and throwing a punch to his face.
Wilson fell on his hands catching himself just before his body met the floor. He didn't want to stop him from releasing his anger now but at the same time, he didn't want him to hurt himself. Him taking out his anger now was probably the best thing at the moment and would help to calm his paranoia.
He retreated a bit from the man watching him throw everything apart in anger.
He pulled a cigarette out his enormous pack, ready to light it any moment the situation got out of hand and hopefully it wouldn't.
Justin finally exhausted his rage and fell to his knees promising himself that he wasn't going to cry. Even though a member of the Advocate had saved them, he didn't trust them. A cult in general was never a good thing and they never did anything if they didn't want something from you in return. He slipped thr diary into his pocket and stood up and without saying a word to the staring Wilson, he walked out of the room.
He had been so occupied with himself and his curiosity that he hadn't even realized that somebody was actually with him until he had walked out of the broken door. He was almost halfway certain that his parents death wasn't an accident and when he was sure of his thoughts, he would go after whomever that had murdered them and he wouldn't rest until their lives were more miserable than his.
